Hi all I have mounted a double din headunit into my zed. I have used the mounting brackets off the bose unit - it goes in but it doesnt sit properly. The whole in the centre console isnt a perfect standard double din size. For example my headunit plastic surround does not fit on as the hole in the dash isnt big enough to accomodate it. What have people been using to mount their double dins? I have been reading about a Metra surround fascia kit? Do these do the jobs? I just cant find anywhere to buy one? All the ones on ebay are to accomodate a single din, such as this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-350Z-CD-RA ... 286.c0.m14 If anyone can help me that would be great. I really dont want to sell my new double din unit

Hi all About to buy my P3 service pack from http://z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseacti ... rentCat=38 Are these guys good? If I lived near Northumberland I would get them to service it too - as it is I will get a local garage to install the parts I am a little confused however on what oil to go for? They have: Millers CFS 10W40 @ £34.78 OR Royal Purple 5W30 @ £46.25 I don't mind paying more for the Royal Purple if it is better but I am confused as to why it is a different viscosity - is this ok? Hopefully someone can put my mind to rest

I was thinking that wouldnt matter. I just want to use the mic by the rear view mirror - the new headunit should supply the output tp power it? Just wondering if the wire can be spliced and joined on a mic wire?

Hi all My new headunit is arriving soon. It has bluetooth handsfree built in and it comes with a wired mic Has anyone or does anyone know how I could use the mic that is already built into the car? Can you cut a mic cable and join it together like 12v wire? Im assuming you cant? Is there any connections on the mic anywhere that I could use to plug it into my new HU? Thanks!

My car is due its service anytime now. May aswell get a decent air filter The Zed is totally standard - will the JWT popcharger suit a standard Zed? Does it make a nice noise / increase power?

I would have one of these...... Is the handsfree system in the car seperate to the headunit? i.e. will it still cut off the audio and sound through the speakers with an aftermarket headunit?

If I get an aftermarket headunit will this unit still work?

Brilliant! Yes it is the metallic with the gear numbers on. What do you recommed for bringing it back up to scratch? Can you link me to the type of product I need? Much appreciated Yeah searched the web and it seems taking wheel off and getting at them from inside the wheel arch is best way - I will try this. Thanks for all your help

Brill.... will have a look through, thanks Just took the two bolts off for the headlights - gives enough room to change indicator bulbs but sidelight bulbs are still impossible to reach - are these accessed under the wheel arch or is it bumper off job?

Hi all. Just bought a sunset orange 54 plate 350z. Absolutely love it. Can I have some help with a few queries... 1. I want to change the orange indicator bulbs and orangey sidelights but there appears to be no way of getting at them. How do you access the back of the headlight unit? 2. The passenger outer door seal is coming off (the strip that goes from the wingmirror to the b pillar on the outside bottom of the window) - is this common? Is dealer best place to get another one of these? 3. The gear knob is worn - again is dealer best place for this and is it easy to remove? 4. And finally I see in the service records its had its p2 service - is this the cambelt one? The car has done 63k - I'd imagine the major cambelt service has been done? It has a full service history but no receipts so don't know if cambelt needs doing Thanks in advance for any help
