  1. Thats a good price for the "Guns of Navarone"!! ;)

i love the look of the cans on the K1 but its just a touch too loud, sounds ok with bungs in but it just doesnt look right with them in

Yeah, Maz77 has the K1, and at the last Bluewater Meet, as he was approaching the Car park, he caused a Rock slide from the cliff walls..bits of debris and dust :scare::lol:

ha i am taking the zed onto the rollers at the weekend and the bungs are coming off will be interesting to see how many get some mild hearing damage

  3. I think you should bear in mind the price of one new... ;)

yeah wasnt too sure how much these are new so was testing the water

    price drop £250 collected , £260 delivered

  4. looking to take this off car as previous owner had it fitted and its just a touch too loud for me so i am going to get a K2 :D

this is the ESR K1 not japspeed one which i ve been told is quite rare and sought after, its in mint condition as previous owner hardly used car, this is just catback and bungs not including Y pipe pictures can be seen in thread below

£300 i think is a fair price? located in glasgow for pick up or i can arrange delivery for about £10 extra

    thanks

  5. got a JDM and looks like previous owner has stuck on a OEM UK spoiler as opposed to drilling holes . going to remove this and fit nismo spoiler and dont fancy drilling holes

whats the best bond to use , from what iv e read tigerseal or sikaflex seems to do the job. will these damage/burn the paintwork and are they strong enough to hold the spoiler at high speeds?

    thanks

  6. I got mine for £175 from sumo power

here is a pic of mine instlled

    DSC00007.jpg

as you will see they look rather B)

hmm think i prob give them a shout then the 'US' spec one on ebay was around that price

thanks guys , i was pretty sure it would fit as JDM doesnt have the resevoir there but though ti would check

looks like it is shipped from UK. i had one of these for my EP3 civic and bought injen hydroshield for it so i should be able to get one for this

I think they come with one for the Zed.. If not there is a specific one for the AEM, but am guessing that the AEM / INJEN / NISMO are all made in the same factory!

yeah there wasnt s specific AEM one for the civic CAI but the injen one fitted it . dont really see the need for them as i dont tend to drive through 3 ft puddles but you never know with the lovely scottish weather :D

  7. thanks guys , i was pretty sure it would fit as JDM doesnt have the resevoir there but though ti would check

  8. pretty self expanatory , i know for AEM CAI for a UK car you need to remove a resevoir and for JDM its straight fit .

seen a AEM CAI on ebay and it says for US soec 350z and i mailed the guy and he said it will only fit US spec ?

  9. OK, Fair enough about Henry! ;)

My CTR did not have a modified base map as you suggested, but was had a full day dyno tuning at CPL RACING in Sheerness by Guy Chamberlain, who owns Europe`s if not the worlds quickest turbo 650bhp CTR,a quarter mile time of 10.18 , probably, lower as its been a few years!

    http://www.cplracing.co.uk/news.php

I take it your CTR was decatted to acheive that result?

yeah m8 , the manifold i had decatted the car but also made it LOUD , i ve spoke to guy and CPL a few time about fitting a turbo to my EP3 as i was going to take scott whitelaws turbo off him but it was to far to travel so was TDI north

  10. ROFLCOPTER...Henry The Cat? WTF? sounds very suspect, been involved with Honda tuning scene a long time, and never heard of that guy!

The mods you had are very good, but I think the dyno you went on may be in need of a calibration check ;)

    My set up on CTR:

    Full Spoon Exhaust

    Jackson Racing Manifold +Race cat

    Ingalls Torque damper

    ITG Maxogen Induction Kit

K100 -Mapped to produce 182 WBHP -by CPL RACING (Standard CTR produces 154 WBHP)

you cant have been that involved if you ve never heard of him ;) he specialises in engine swaps , ecu remapping and does some work for the big tuning companies.

dyno was fine and properly caliberated , alot of the stock ep3's he dyno'd on same day made stock figures or there abouts , some k20's are stronger than others and your k100 would have been a modified base map rather than a full dyno tune like mines was which is why i made higher figures

  11. as title suggests , i have a jdm and a good head unit (JVC KW-AVX700 ) find the front speakers a bit crappy just wondering what the best are for around £100 prob looking to get them fitted also as it looks a pain to fit then

also am i right in saying upgrading the rear speakers are pointless as most folk say just switch them off?

  12. Very Nice, but 240?? Who tuned that for you, and what mods? I had a CTR for 3 and a half years, and had work and tuning done by TGM RACING, AND CPL RACING in sheerness

This Shot of My CTR was used for a issue of BANZAI MAGAZINE OCTOBER 07

    JerryCTRxmasMeet.jpg

ok well it waws 239 :p it got full custom map by someone local called henry the kat , he is a legend on alot of forums and very hard to get hold of.

i had full mugen twin loop catback, dc sports manifold, kpro, gruppe M , quaiffe slip diff , clutchmasters fx400 amongdt a host of other stuff

  13. welcome aboard matey, was that pic taken at scottish modified over the weekend ?

    Paul

was last years mate , was on the hondatech stand i didnt have a car this year :(

i used to be part of hondatech when i had the DC5 :cloud9:

congrats on the step up

almost bought a dc5 and a s2k but felt like a change and some torque

the headlights on my zed are nice though ;)

  14. finally got a zed from another member here i am sure most of you will recognise who's it is (was) pretty happy with it very clean car but before that heres my old baby

    20072008237.jpg

ep3 civic type-r loved it to bit and had it running at 240bhp which is not bad for an n/a car which is 200bhp standard

    and heres the new toy

    DSC00494.jpg

got plans for it already not much to change as chris had it tastefully modded already :)

  15. ha they wont insure me because i ve never owned a fast rear wheel drive car before

i ve been driving for 10 years and 9 years NCB clean license, oh and also owned and driven a 320bhp supercharged type-r for 2 years without any claims

    ack well

I checked with my colleague & they said you didn't mention about the type r experience!

    Give us another call!
