What have they done to that poor car?
-
Over the years I've had 040s, VUS's, Falken 452's & Eagle F1's.
By far the best out of the bunch are the F1's. Especially in the wet.

I'll take one too please, standard black with the Z would be good.

Shame, I'm in Northampton for the weekend. Would have liked to have come along to this one.
Have fun guys.

Yeah ESP off is best in the snow otherwise it kicks in all over the place when you really don't want it
Completely forgot this on the way home, everything was normal until I hit the short, steep hill and then it all fell apart. Was a bit concerned I'd not make it up the hill and leave it blocked
Couldn't stop as I'd not get going again so couldn't turn the ESP off. 8mph in 2nd with the traction control rattling away was not fun. Only about 150m up the hill but I was starting to sweat towards the end
I blame all the roads leading there for lulling me into a false sense of security

Many thanks guys

Followed you out of Asda in Borough Heath last night at about 6:15
Also... your nearside brake light isn't working

Try PMing a guy named Zollar on pistonheads, he works for admiral and might be able to help.

Fantastic looking cars, would love to have the space/cash to do one up like that.
While I do like the shape of the 350/370 I honestly believe they've yet to make a better looking Z than the original.

family parking spaces after 9pm (kids should be in bed by then) by all means
but double parking or disabled bays when your not disabled deserves at a minimum of appear on here
if i was with mates and i saw a double parked cars i'd get 2 cars to park within an inch of each side and watch with humour as the owner tried to get back into their car.
Disagree on double parking 100%.
I always parked my Z as in photo above at supermarkets, DIY stores etc. (i.e. anywhere not paying where there was a high chance of being damaged) part in protest and part to stop it being damaged.
Why would you use only one space? Don't understand that at all. The parking spaces in the UK are ludicrous. They are simply not big enough for cars. Haven't you noticed? Quite a big design fault that is accepted for some unfathomable reason.
Why would you squeeze your car in to a space designed for a go kart when there is a good chance of it either being damaged or you have to get back in to the driver's seat by performing acrobatics whilst your passenger stands in the cold, windy, pissing rain whilst you reverse out because they couldn't get back in at all.
I posted the photo in tribute of excellent Z parking, not for any other reason.
Couldn't agree more.
You think that's parking like a ****? I can guarantee you it's due to the driver being treated like a **** by other driver banging their doors into his before he started parking like that.
What you're looking at there is effect, not cause. Massive difference. Learn it.

Hmmmm I know this could be a long shot but worth testing the water with.
Has the central dash area been opened up at any time to gain access behind the heater controls. The reason being is if you unplug the heater controls the blower automatically comes on, even though it's unplugged.
Could this mean a potential fault with the cable or has come loose? It's a ribbon cable that attaches to the heater controls behind the central dash.
Worth a punt?
This is exactly what I was thinking. Having taken the dash apart a few times, it sounds very like what happens when the wire from the heater control is removed from the white box it's attached to. Hopefully an easy fix!
+1
Happened to me when I was fitting my stereo.

32 bit or 64 bit OS?
Many drivers have not yet been updated for 64 bit systems in default installations. Sometimes they have the correct installation files hidden in another folder, others haven't bothered providing them yet.

Just a normal wave will do it.
Most people around me will cheerfully return the greeting, except for the guy in the black Z I've seen a few times by Betchworth station. Always pretends I'm not there

I'm up for one.

Colin.. I believe your thread has arrived!

Definitely agree with going with the i5K instead of the i7, no benefit to gaming at all.
Most games are created or optimised for 32bit architecture still so while your 64bit OS will see more than 4gb RAM the game will not utilise it. With the current prices of RAM though I'd only worry about this if you're desperate to save a few quid somewhere.
I also would avoid Nvidia cards at the moment as they have some catastrophic issues with driver kernels failing on a regular basis with 64bit systems.

Try them again mate, they're worth the effort.

From what I've seen most zombies tend to hang around their local Witherspoon's.

Product placement is getting silly in some tv shows.
I noticed that in some show my missus was watching the other night. Think it was called "Whitney". Everyone had iphones. I said to the missus that they surely must be sponsered by apple, and sure enough at the end a disclaimer came up saying "product placement by apple".
The two worst I've seen are The Glades and White Collar where they will actually have long, lingering shots of cars (boring ones too) while the character describes the toys in it that he likes the most.

I had one before on a Land Rover that blew a head gasket less than a week later, not worth the paper they're printed on.
First port of call would be a helpful member having a nose and if you're near one of the recommended garages I'd give them a bell and pay them to have a nose instead of the RAC/AA/etc if you want a professional opinion.

You've been watching The Walking Dead and you haven't started your post with a rant about tents?
You're not paying attention properly.
LHD headlights for 54 plate
in Wanted
Posted
Afternoon guys,
Does anyone have a set of headlights for left hand drive roads to replace factory originals on a RHD 54 plate gathering dust in their garage?
Many thanks.
