does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it...Every time it rains my front windscreen mists up. The only and i mean only way to stop it is to turn on the AC...Surely the fan should be able to demist it, but it doesnt...

What stuff do you use? I am new to this level of detailing so i thought that this 3 step would be an easy start. Thanks for the tips.... its still pissing down so i am unlikely to get anymore done.... so might have to

Got all of my new detailing stuff today!! including two new buckets, micro colthes (8), applicators, meguiars 3 step system, meg gold wask and meg mit! and drying towel. Started using the 2 bucket method with the Gold wash (great stuff) and the mit - got the one that has the bug remover side. The car and wheels were bad, so used to buckets on the car and two on the wheels! Maybe over the top but they look good. Came in inside for a coffee and it start pissing down..... Very annoying....i am more annoyed that i can not use the 3 step sysetm - been looking forward to it While its raining i thought i would post up a question or two!! Should i use the micro clothes to put on and remove each step i.e paint cleaner, wax and polish? or should i use the white applicatos that came with it..... Do you use a separarte micro clothe for each step? so in total 6?

The tyre wear is good, no feathering at all. I stopped off at the place that fits my tyres (has done foe years) and they couldn't see anything wrong with them at all. Might jack up the front over the weekend and have a look!! Its also going into TMG for a P1 so i'll ask them to have a look as well.

It seems most people change the aerial for their first mod?? Something i a looking at, but i was wondering (pics would be good) what do people chose and why?

Thanks, if it were a balance issue i would have thought it cause a vibration rather than a rumble?

ok, so a small update!! The noise is a rumble, this actaully happens while going straight but get worse turning right but completely go's when turning left. Do people believe that this is still the bearings?

The car has done just over 74,000 so should have a P3, but there is no point if the car has had one at 61,000 (as the book states). I am going to phone the garage and see what it had done.

I tried that but i didnt feel to much movement. I am starting to think the bearing has gone...i am wondering if the torlerances are so tight that even the smallest amount would mean it on its way out....Any ideas on the cost of a new one or are the adjustable?

It seems my servicing (by the last person) has been done in the wrong order What do you think i should do? They have doen the following P1, P2, P1, P3, P2, P1, P3......IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN P1, P2, P1, P3, P1, P2, P1......So i thought i should do a P3 next but since this was only done last year, should i do a P3?

Reading Nissan - £380 Henley Independent (very good reviews and free car) - £374 Abby - £300 JVS - £220 TGM - £225 I am thinking of going to TGM as they are not that far from me, good price and have some good reviews….but I was wondering on what other people thought?

I had new front tyres fitted about 3 motnsh ago toyo T1-R.They were no problem up until about a month ago when i notice taking right hand corners was a lot noiser than taking left hand corners....do you guys have any ideas what this could be?

i have been reading alot of the detailing of a car - didnt think there was so much to it.....I have a couple of questions.. 1, what is the best run of the mill (not £45 odd) wax! 2, i have read that you should wax every week, but other say once a month - so how often? 3, polish! Every few months, but what is a good one. Thanks

Hehe, you are going to have so much fun reading the detailing subforum. Some very subjective questions. But as Chris has mentioned those brands will be fine. Soon as i have cleaned it! I have read alot of stuff on here about cleaning a car probably clay etc. So going to give that a try, but where is the detailing forum?

I might be able to come along, my car is very dirty and the wheels are in the worst condition....
