lol dude I have no clue, im not familiar with facelift models and so on, i supect it should fit, do 05 roadsters have the slide back lid compartment next to handbrake?

If we can find out if it fits an 07 roadster ill take it.

OK now I own a zed i can ask this without fear of rollie eye smilies lol. I bought a cup of coffee from town other day and walked back to the zed, placed it in the middle console cup holder but didnt quite fit, it was only a regular takeout cup of coffee not a large, anyhow the lid came off as the cup was squeezed in and i had a bath of coffee in the middle console bit under the slide back lid, I own an 07 Roadster, any other alternatives to coffee cup holders, its important to me as I like going off on a sunny day, top down, shades on, moosic playing and coffee in holder, exploring country roads!!!

I was going to polish then wax now but the cars boiling as its in the sun and theres no way of moving to somewhere cooler, maybe I should do it in the morning when the sun is round the other side of the house and the cars in the shade?

Excellent thanks, will polish in a bit when its cooler, so polish with mcguires polish I bought THEN finish with waxing and im done yes lol?

OK finally started, washed with mitt and 2 buckets, towel dried then tbh its boiling so cheated and just used mcguires detailer spray, looks good. Ive not used my 222 carnuaba wax yet. Which is the stage that gives it a fantastic shine? Wax or polish? The carnuaba 222 wax doesnt really have clear instructions, just says add in strokes then wipe off before dries, is that it? How much do I use per stroke, how long to wait before rubbing off, do I add with a microfibre sponge.

Cheers guys, ok they sorted it now, sort of lol, the sound is coming from the front speakers for the handsfree but still not as loud as I would have thought, volume has to be all the way up still, bit of a let down tbh, my pioneer bluetooth head unit is loud as hell even when only halfwya up volume and even with top down doing 70 you can hear crystal clear. This just doesnt seem loud at all, plus is there anyway to turn up level of sound mic, ie mic gain i think its called, not happy tbh for £700? The interference ive been told is cos its a bose and amp system and I need a £15 lead or something to stop it, they called their rep who said this lead will stop the sound which only appears when the engine is running.

Just bought a hose kit from Argos to clean the car and save some money but the bloody hose attachment to connect to taps wont fit any tap in my house as I have stupid mixer taps, anyone had the same problem, can you buy extra large tap attachments, the hose is Hozelock system, I've spent an hour arsing about with no joy!

Cheers everyone. On my kenwood system when i go in fader, if i move the arrow upto the front of the seats in the car layout image and the sound goes quiet at the front, does that mean its been wired incorrectly or correctly? So basically I go into audio set up and to fader, there I see a daigram of a cars front and back seats with the cross over it, if i drag the curser to the front of the cross on the front seats the sound goes away form the speakers at the front, is that meant to happen? Im getting sound from front speakers with dvd, tuner and cd etc but not with the bluetooth handsfree, only comes from driver seat rear speaker and its quiet, cant hear it.

Hi there I had my Kenwood 5240BT installed this morning I bought from you guys, all is fine except 2 things, firstly the handsfree only comes through the rear speaker behind the seats in the 350z, its very hard to hear due to this, the persons voice at other end does not come through speakers at front of car, also the other persons voice level is very quiet despite the head unit volume being up full. Also the person at other end says I sound faint as if the mic is not loud enough, its mounted behind steering wheel on the dash. And finally there seems to be some intereference sound, like a screeching, even when car stationary and not moving, like a squelch when u put a mic close to a speaker on karaoke, any ideas please.

Im getting the after market kenwood double din installed tommorow by a local company, they have been going 25 years and are very good, been going there 20 years myself, is there anything I should inform the installer that would thelp them perhaps, any known issues with installing a double din bluetooth unit and how 350z owners fixed them. Its going in an 07 roadster, just things like jacking unit up from below to seal gap etc, anything helpful I can tell the fitters tommorow to make sure my unit goes in and looks perfect. Thanks

Why dont you seal AFTER waxing, i would have thought wax creates the shine yes/no? So the shampoo cleans the car, the polish creates the shine? Then you seal the shine so dirt and grit only stay ontop of the shine and can be washed off easily, im just trying to understand the thought and reasoning behind its process/step?

So auto glym is one you cant go wrong with, I already have carnuaba 222 wax so will shampoo, polish, seal, then wax.

Anyone recommend a good polisher and sealer please, also do people actually use tyre blacker/shiner, was worried about slippy brakes after use.

Last question for today I promise lol, I've searched but found nothing on this. I'm due my new upgrade this week, a Nokia N97 and wondered where you guys keep your mobile when in the car, do you have an holder attached to air vents or put it in the arm rest middle console bit. I'd be concerned about scratching to buggery my new phone if I keep it in the middle holder bit, so just wondered where you keep yours?

Cheers, I thought that too and would get it plain and let company who are fitting the nismo kit spray it so colours match.
