If it's just the two types of bonnets for you guys (facelift and pre-facelift) then we will run two group buys for them. This thread is just for whichever one T2 has (hopefully he or someone can clarify that on his behalf?)

We have done the rear view mirror before and providing the 350z one isn't stupidly complicated or anything it shouldn't cost more than £40-£45 area.

Sounds good I think it's looking like starting off with the bonnets (list going for that one as you saw) then the interior dash and trim pieces I will be putting up a thread for later today and then see what people are interested in after that. Haven't yet got plans for any engine bay things but if we get request for it we can sort something out between us I hope (wouldn't want to come in trying to steal your business or anything like that obviously)

Well waiting for clarification on differences between the roadster/coupe bonnets (if there is any) But the first one I'll be doing is a direct mould of T2's bonnet that he is kindly loaning us.

Quality will be spot on buddy we have a number of quality control policies and we rufuse to send anything out that we wouldn't use on our own cars - if we do it wrong, we do it again

Them petrol covers and the arm rest were just a simple carbon skinning job so the layers of carbon on top of the normal part but producing the carbon replacements we use vacuum bagging

May not be best quality pics but here a few more of some carbon petrol cap covers, a center armrest and a rear lip (FG again)

Might be cos I am crap with a digital camera and left the flash on while taking the pic? Here is a pic of a lip we did the other day It's fibreglass not carbon but not many people want carbon lips

Well I am based in North Yorkshire but our workshop is in Derby. I deal with sales from home and go down to the workshop once or twice a week to help out and stuff We obviously have the normal black carbon weave and also these colour options:

Aha forgot to add you just 2 mins after sending you the PM saying I would add you Will do you a free carbon bonnet as appreciation for the original to mould mate.

I completely understand that mate. Hopefully be pulling off some Celica bonnets this week so will get pics of them up for you but until we receive the original 350z bonnet for the mould can't show you one of them in carbon. Selling our bonnets singularly would cost considerably more than £275 which is also an introduction offer for you guys and wouldn't be that cheap after the 5 slots on this group buy is finished.

That pillar looks great! Would love to do that one if there's enough interest for it. What are the other two pieces to go with the window controls for the 3 interior parts?

Good question! Really it's based on the price/size of the part because we have to make it worthwhile to us finding a original to mould (either by buying one or borrowing one in excahnge for a free carbon fibre replica) and the producing the part. Usually on body panels like bonnets, bumpers, wings and doors is a min of 5 for a group buy. We can always just produce a single part for someone outside of a group buy but that will obviously cost more as we would be taking the mould for just one sale. Interior plastics and trim more like 10 min and that's usually easy enough as everyone has an interior, right? (I love the smilies on this site by the way! ) You guys can take a look at our site http://techcarbon.co.uk/ for some ideas and a few pics but to be honest the site needs updating with all the parts we produced lately - been mad with business lately so need to find a few mins sometime to update that but there is a few pics to give you general idea. We will be pulling off carbon fibre interior trim for the Honda Prelude tomorrow as we just finished with the moulds for them so when they are done will get some pics up for you guys. We can do pretty much anything if we have an original to mould

Thanks for the replies and welcomes guys So what kinda things you guys interested in seeing made in to carbon fibre parts? Usually start off with interior trims, bonnets, bumpers and lips etc... If you guys have someone that does your carbon now let me know so I try not to cover the same products as them to steal their business. Jay

Hello there 350z owners My name is Jay and I work with a company called Tech Carbon. We custom make carbon fibre car parts for people usually via group buys. It's my job to look for new car clubs who might be interested in carbon fibre parts so I thought I'd have a look on here and see what you guys fancied? In the past we have worked on Celicas, MR2s, Preludes, Supras, Imprezas and others. Parts include carbon fibre bonnets, bumpers, skirts, spoilers, boots, interior trim and dash and egnine bay covers etc. Ideally looking to get some ideas from you guys as to what parts you would like to see made into group buys? Prices are very very competitive and I can upload some pictures to show the quality of work. Opinions and ideas welcome guys!
