I guess us Supra lovers are like the odd family member that kept quiet about, as you say it is a 350Z forum Thanks, but unfortunately i need to recoup some money, also i have an aversion to soft tops. No worries mate, looks like I might have a good PX comming up this weekend which puts good money in my pocket, enough to get me an aerotop and do it up. I am the same with the Softop, I personally do not think it looks anywhere as wicked as the hardtops which is why I was interested in a PX with a 350Z hardtop but no takers I am afraid. Maybe they are all of the same opinion as me Take care and maybe I will see ya around.

I am suprised nobody has told you about me. I have been on ere defending my Supra experience with a few members, as I want to go back to the Supra and sell my 350Z Roadster. Like you I have had a few harsh comments but think that the 350Z forum members are within their right to slate me for using this forum when I am a real Supra Nut instead, sorry guys and girls but its like a itch I need to scratch. I like your car but for me its too much so a PX is not something I am interested in, Swop maybe!!! Good luck with the sale though bud, you do have a nice Supra.

I think this thread is rapidly turning into my thread so appologies to the owner. But to clarify I am gratefull of all the constructive critisism of my advert for my car. If it helps me to sell the car by changing it with your ideas/comments then I am more than happy to accept your them. Thanx to all that have been able to offer this type of critisism, but bog off to those that seem to overstate what I am saying and find some other thread or better still hole to fall into.

Adjusted now, but like I mentioned earlier, the wording of this ad has taken many forms, I have only normally put in bullet points in the past and this has been fine, but regular hits with stupid offers has led me to put in whatever I can to imporve the ad, abeit wrongly. Some of the info in there is due to a lot of questions being asked about things like the brakes, satnav etc etc, so please understand that I am only trying to give people the info they are asking me in the first place. Hope this helps you understand where I am comming from.

Has far as i know you can post your car for sale on here provided you have submitted 50 or more posts in total, looking at your profile you meet that requirement (unless the amount has been adjusted? Thanks for the input and info bud. Not sure anyone is gonna look at me as a potential seller on ere now though. Gonna leave it on Pistonheads for now (my ebay ad is ending soon) and just see what happens, its free so no rush. Its also a bad time now to sell a Roadster, winter on its way, and have declined myself to having to keep until next spring/summer. In which case I will probably enjoy the car for a couple of months then sell on.

350z's are not Crap cars, again someone it putting words into my mouth. They are nice cars but not for me... Sorry for telling the truth. However Supra's are fantastic cars, especially when you make over 10K from an initial 2.5K investment. Try it some day, beats going to your mom and dad for pocket money. Buying cars enjoying them for a while and selling them on is just what I do. You need to realise that their are several varient of the Supra and the reason for buying so many and selling them is to upgrade each and every time, does this make sense to you or should I explain a little better.

But are you on the road as much as me. I drive into many towns and cities around the area visiting Hospitals every day so get the opportunity to look around and see whats on the road. Apx 150-200 miles a day.

The wording of my ad has changed a lot over the months (yes thats how long it been advertised). This current form is now a more desperate attemt at getting people to realise that my car is good value for money, compared to other roadsters out there. But heh if you guys think that this is not how you read it then maybe I should edit AGAIN!!!. Suffice to say, I have sold 4 Supras in the past 3 years (2 in the last 10mths) and all have gone is around a week. I personally think that these cars are not that sort after, and if I am honest are not that good really, which is why I want to get back to the Supra. Shame cos I really wanted one of these they look so awsome, especially with a Nismo body kit, but they are never gonna perform well, even with some of the Turbo/Supercharger upgrades, and these are tremendously expensive. I think the 300ZX is better. I know I am gonna get shot down over this comment. I know nobody is slating the car, we can all see its a good one, I looked for a while before I got it. It is a fine example with everything working as it should and has had some great upgrades, especially the brakes. Any ideas for the ad would be appreciated, maybe I should advertise on ere too.

I have to be honest, the 350z's are getting a little to common IMO, but very nice to see them about though. I am on the road a lot, part of what I do for a living so get the chance to look around, makes you wonder where my eye's really are, on the road or on the cars I did spot another yesterday, but for the life of me cannot remember the exact details so have not bothered to post. It will be just my luck that will be the one thats a memeber too.

Nice to be part of the communtiy though, I am guessing that a lot of 350z drivers are not on ere. Mine is my nice weather/weekend toy so don't get out in it much but I wish someone would spot me. Boo Hoo...

Calm down, mate, you've just got a free bump for your ad! Looks a nice one but I won't insult you by offering an MX5 in p/x... Some people just need reminding that they went to school to learn how to read and understand what they have read, thats all. Too many people just out to spout off without any consideration for others. Seen this so many times before on these forums, its as if they are loaded with these people, no matter which ones you subscribe too. Anyway, I would love the MX5 my sister has one, an old one but its lovelly, this is why I went for the Roadster version of the Zed in the first place. I have owned mine for a few months now and its such a lovelly drive especially in the sunshine. I just aint into the look of the softop version, the hard top looks so much more mean otherwise I would not sell it. Oh and their is the small part that these cars look better than they go so wanting to go back to my Supra's is also a reason for selling. Thanks for the bump on this one bud, I think I can advertise on this forum now but may leave that a while, especially after the slating the car and I have had.

Be nice if someone could let us know. Someone must have done it. I know from my wifes Renaulsport Megane 225 that you need specific leads to make this work and they differ from year/level of car too so very important you get the right one. Its easy to do just need the correct advice. ANYONE HELP US??????

Thanx for this info on that, mine is a late 2003 JDM so will look for older car pods now in the hope they work. Don't mind paying around £40-50 for them on the off chance they work but only really had one offer to date and he wanted £125 I think, which is a lot if it aint gonna work. Thanx again bud

Me and GT4Zed did a swap the other month and my dials didn't work in his and vice versa. What year and spec is yours and if you know, what year and spec was the donor car? I may do this in the future As above, what year etc as it seems some do work and some don't. Need more clarification before we spend time and money on this one.

May I suggest you read the add properly I do mention that the car was late 2006 registed so those in the know will know that this is the higher tax bracket. Suffice to say though an extra £200/year on a car like this is not a lot really. If you want something like this then you are normally prepared to pay for it right? Also if you read the add correctly again you will read that a MKIV Supra and a Htop 350z are the exception to the 6k rule. Also if you read the add correctly again you will read the the 310BHP is, and I quote "hearsay" as per the person I bought it off who was a memeber on ere apparantly he had it rolling road tuned, ( I being new can only go by what people tell me are you saying this is not possible then?) yep maybe I should have done some research, which I did but not to this level. Finally I was only putting in a bit of friendly advice when I mentioned selling a 58plate for 10K as an example of how low do you need to go to sell your car. Its not my fault someone reads this as being my car, I at no stage of the conversation said this was my car. Read though and take a look. Nikbiomed out....

Me and GT4Zed did an interior swap on Tuesday night and our pods didnt work in the other cars. It just came up with 3 lines. Thats interesting I was gonna buy a UK dial setup on ere so I could have the MPH instead, but it seems then that this will not work!!!! Must say that that pod does quite a lot, ie Fuel used, rev shift light adj etc etc and the fuel usage one is in km/l which must be transmitted via a computer somewhere. That being the case I cannot see how the UK ones will actually work in a JDM car. Can anyone clarify before I spend £150 on the UK pods? Not sure why they don't work mate but it literally just showed 3 lines. You couldn't even change between the speed/rev limit ect. It may be the converter chip throwing the signal off but without messing around with it I have no idea. plus if you were to remove the converter the pods may work but the big face dials would be off. I'm sure that I read it can be done though, maybe do a search and you'll find something. Sorry I can't be of more help anyway I am very gratefull for the info bud, you could of saved me quite a lot of money and a lot of hassel. I think I will just leave them alone and just forget it reads in Kmh when its actually showing the correct MPH. At least the speed is correct which is the main thing me thinks. Thanx again
