Thanks Chris - I will give that a try before i go complaning to the garage. I was soooooo excited to get my 350z as iv been debating about one for a couple of years and now all i can hear is the stupid brakes - i just want it to b fixed so i can enjoy it

Thanks - It is very annoying and everyone looks at me when im stopping as its obviously not just me that can hear it ha ha The brakes are Brembo's. Its normally only when im applying light pressure and have nearly stopped, i noticed it the day i picked the car up (last tuesday) but they tried fobbing me off and said it was brake dust so i have given it a week but surely after a week of driving this would have stopped or at least become less noticable by now? I have warranty on the car so could just take it back but if it was nothing major i'd rather have it done now so its not annoying me anymore. Lucy

Hi everyone, Im having the same problem - i bought my 350z a week ago now from a garage and since i got it the brakes have been squeeking. Im not sure if its front or back, the salesman said its probably just brake dust as the car had been stood for a couple of weeks and the dust will wear off. I'v tried the usual braking harder etc to remove the brake dust but if anything it seem's to b getting worse and louder. Any suggestions would be helpful although im thinking about just taking it back and telling them to sort it. Thanks - Lucy
