Hello Everyone. I went to a wedding in hinckley leicestershire this weekend. As I was packing my 350 outside the doors of the hotel a black/ orange seats 370 pulled up behind me for a show off and a chat. He said he used to drive a 350 and had just got the new car. I was over the moon to see one in the flesh. It looks the nuts with the 19s on. He said it was the ultimate edition with all the sat nav and that included. You can now control sat nav using buttons on the steering wheel!! The armrest is now a lovely soft touch material. Id love one.

As I suffer from a bad back daily, Ive noticed that there could be a tad more lumber support. My Mini Cooper S had adjustable lumber before it!! I have found that to avoid that squatting down feeling which makes my back worse, I tilt my seat back slightly further than Im used to. It really helps me. I have had my Z 6 weeks and am feeling better about it now Im more comfy! I am not a big person, but I also find the leg bolsters way too narrow too. I have raised both sections of lower seat to their highest point to avoid that squashed arse feeling. It was really bugging me but feel almost comfortable now!

I must admit I do love the GT4 Yellow. Saw one the other day and loved it. The mid to late 2006 has revised interior so didnt want 2005. Each to their own I guess.

I have just traded my MCS in for a Z and as much as I love my new car I will always hold a soft spot for my hyper blue. True I was getting fed up of every other car I passed being a mini, you have to remember there is a reason for this. They are brilliant!!! As for the Handling? Are you mad, they are the nuts!! Thats one of the reasons why they are so popular. I do feel a tad more grown up in my zed though. While on the subject, I was in my zed the day after I got it with my mate when I found myself in a tussel with a MCS with 4 dudes in it. I couldnt get anywhere near him!! He obviously knew his car better than I new mine. In the end I backed off in case one of us had an accident. They are both great cars and very different. The Mini Cooper S should never be written off. Remember its one of the only cars that made sub zero on the top gear cool wall. Even though it is a load of cods wallop. xxx

Its got the rest of its 3 year warranty which runs out at the end of october. It was damn scary to say the least. It was on a windy country road too!

Friday eventually arrived and I drove away from the Stealers about 4pm. They gave me no petrol, only enough fumes to get to the petrol station over the road. They had no super unleaded so I put in 95 ron ( a small amount to get me to my destination and a cheaper shell (v=power) garage. All was well on my, taking it easy speed limit drive back when all of a sudden the car just shut down and came to a halt. The accelerator was lifeless. I stopped. Put on my hazzads and started waving cars past me. After the innitial panic I tried the engine again and it started and roared off??!!!! I got to my girlfriends parents that were close by and called the dealers. They said it may have been confused by the lower grade fuel and shut off. The salesman then got my address and turned up with a flippin Micra!! I was so devastated by the thought of having that instead of my new Z for the weekend that I asked salesman to drive round the block a few times. He said he thought it was ok and I should risk it if I wanted it so bad, which of course I did. I kept it and let him drive off in the micra. Had no problems since and I love it. I used to mix fuels all the time in my cooper S. What is going on? Help!!

Thanks everyone. Yeah I could see it moving where the screw was. I have got a couple of more pics but a couple are out of focus. Damn sunshine! I will post some more once it is in my clutches. p.s. Ive already read a few thousand posts on this site. Even before I chose the car. Like to do my research!

Hello Everyone, I am picking up my 56 plate Azure Blue on FRIDAY!!! I cant wait. Read the sign in the window!! I will be sad to see the old Cooper S go but time for a change. Went to see the car Id put a deposit on this saturday just gone and loved it. Very pleased to see it had the tonneu cover, mats, boot carpet and entry guards already in place. I couldnt believe my luck. Its done 24000 miles. Not a mark on it, inside and out. However there was a weird clicking sound as I opened the drivers door. I could see that it was the black strut that stops the door flying open too far that was loose. The dealer said it was a common prob on 350z and would fix. Its as good as mine so I am hoping for some good news back from the forums. Cheers and Hello!!!
