Intriguing!
What was the rest of the present?
-
Gleaming!
Thank you so much mate!

is M10 a 14mm head?
If memory serves it's a 16 or 17mm head. It's been a while since I had to look anything like this up though!
-
14mm heads, 40 to 50mm length
Cheers. Any idea on thread diameter?
-
Cheers mate.
Do you know the actual size? Need to order a few!

Don't really fancy crawling under the car in the snow to check this so thought I'd check if anyone knows the answer first!
I'm trying to find out the dimensions of the bolts used on the Zed's exhaust. Are they the same for the headers to cats, cats to y pipe, y pipe to mid pipe and mid pipe to back box?
Should any special type of bolt be used, eg is fully stainless ideal?
Thanks for helping to keep me dry!

Looking good mate.
My kit should be arriving soon. Will be picking your brains no doubt!

Would make a lovely Christmas Present!

No longer needed as I have upgraded the HU, now needs a new home!
Just £65-00 inc P&P within the UK.

I take it there's no simple way to swap the ecu for a US or Jap one?
-
Does that mean they are able to live map by UpRev in the US? Is it a case of transferring the tech to a UK ecu?
I'm interested to see how this progresses!
-
Would an UpRev/Piggyback combination work?
I may well be getting this entirely wrong, but as I understand it the stock ecu (flashed to take into account different injectors etc) works best at lower revs, while a UTEC or similar can kick in once the boost comes on strong and can take over a lot of the control using its MAP sensor. The stock ECU doesn't have knock detection at high revs, while a UTEC has, and the UTEC also has switchable maps.
Am I well off the mark here? Would be good to know as I'm awaiting the imminent arrival of a whole load of kit!

I'm in Paderborn. Would definitely be up for a meet in the New Year.

I will be trying to make it. Have a beautiful peugeot hire car to bring across
Close. Mines an estate though.

My kit should be arriving in the next couple of weeks.
Getting nervous!
-
What make are they? Any pictures?

I may be back in the UK that weekend for a wedding near Birmingham and should hopefully be free on the Sunday. Will most likely have a dodgy hire car rather than my Z but it would be good to come along and meet people. In particular, I'm keen to speak to Nusrrish about his project!

+1
It's also worth noting that the cameras are not sign-posted and are often concealed. Some of the methods of hiding are actually pretty crafty - the ones that are actually hidden in the Armco spring to mind!
It is starting to get pretty cold over here as well so be on the look out for icy patches. Oh, and there are no cats-eyes either!

Thanks Scott, if I don't get any joy in the next couple of weeks I'll give you a shout.

Hi All,
I'm after a stock engine cover (the black plastic one that attaches over the front of the plenum) for a non-revup as I've managed to crack mine. Hopefully someone who's buying one of those smart new carbon ones doesn't have any need for their old one...
Don't mind if it's tatty, just as long as it can be bolted in place.
Thanks!
