Im 100miles away from the car. For me I only do 9000 miles a year, but will it be worthless in comparison to what i spent on it after say 2.5 years?? thats my main concern really

Looks all good to me, but im no mechanic! And should I be worried about the mileage?? its not going to need any major parts replacing anytime soon?

Seen this ad on autotrader, its the exact spec and colour I wanted and within budget easily, but my only concern is it done over 80,000 miles...........is this a cause for for concern? and is the sale price fair?? Any opinions welcome??

Ohhh i seeee, Any particular problems with cat D zeds? I saw one today and it looked sweeeet and drove to perfection!!!

Oh and its a cat d...but only light panel damage but fully repaired by nissan specialist!! Is this a cause for concern?? as im not looking to sell it on anytime soon.

Have no idea why I thought this was north london. Its not from a nissan dealership, its from a car trader down there. Mot is due in June though and i believe its the P3 service at about 27K?? correct me if im wrong?

Hi everyone, Ive been looking to buy a zed for a while now, and think I've finally found one I like. Im travelling down to North London tommorrow to have a look at it. Im no car expert whatsoever, so need a little guidance in what to look out for? And what to check for? Its a black 06 plate UK GT spec zed, with 23K on the clock. Saw an Import the other day, but noticed it didnt have brembo brakes on it. If i did buy it, I would like to upgrade it to the brembo's, because (correct me if im wrong) they are alot better brakes and last longer. (plus i like the look of the orange caliper covers beneath the alloys ) but not too sure about the costs? Does anyone have a general guide to costs and fixing charges?

to be honest im not fussed on JDM or not, as long as its in good shape, drives well and has some life left in it...im game!!! The less mods the better for me, as I would like to do it up to my own personal taste. Even Cat D Zed's will be fine, as long its got all the relevant docs and been fixed and cleared as roadworthy; but im not paying anywhere near £9K for a Cat D And yeh your right i not expecting to find a decent UK zed for this price, but ive seen some JDM ones go for as low as £7995 on autotrader and ebay. But im holding out for a good bargain, just thought id post here to see if anyone knew of any going or wanted to sell theirs on. Thanks for all the feedback though

Thanks for you quick reply and advice Nixy, Ive seen import zed's for about £8500, some even less. Not sure whether to avoid these? I thinking of putting aside £1000 to make mods to the car. Is it true also, all imports are restricted to 112mph? can this be de-restricted? if so how much? Anyone know how much a new Nissan Sat Nav will set me back or an good equivalent that fits snuggly in the unit? Also ive read that the head unit systems on imports are rubbish, How much would it cost to upgrade to a decent system? and do the speakers need changing too? And can the basic steering wheel be upgraded to the multi-function version? Sorry about all the questions, you can tell im a complete newbie to the Zed's

I was wondering if anyone could help me, im new here Im looking to buy a used 350z import, but not sure if this would be a wise decision as the ones in my budget have done 35-65K miles. As I only have a set budget to buy one, I know imports are alot cheaper to buy at the moment, but was wondering if anyone could tell me how much it would cost to convert; The Jap Sat Nav to a UK Sat Nav? Add Rear Parking Sensors? Possibly convert to leather seats? And what other Mods would I need to do to it to make it live up to the UK road conditions and to my expectations as a young 22 year old driver? Would appreciate any help from anyone. Thanks
