Do you know what the exhaust is? Looking good B)

Im afraid I have no idea what exhaust this is, it came with the car when it was imported.

But I've had a closer look at it, and its got the nissan "Z" engraving on it.....so i can only assume its some sort of nissan aftermarket zed exhaust - but i could be wrong??

..........but it does sound sweet, especially when i put my foot to the floor.....but im not sure how it compares to others!!

Could be the Fujitsubo exhaust, i'm sure that has a Z in the middle of the back box

Just googled Fujitsubo exhaust, and think thats the one I have on mine. As I think i recall the import garage owner did tell me this, although he did recommend fitting a new y-pipe to match  which should increase my BHP by 30 so he says....(as a totally non mechanical zed owner - no idea what he's on about :D )

  7. Im 21, got my import zed about 3 weeks ago.

Im insured with Bell.co.uk .....i searched everywhere and they are the CHEAPEST! and really really helpful too. I paid about £1500 for the year

although my quotes for Admiral were only like £20 more...every penny counts.

And yeh it also depends on your postcode aswel....plus it may help sometimes to stick your mrs on there.

  8. Just notcied my dash is starting to make a rattling noise. has anyone experienced this at all??

It seems to be coming from the top of the centre console (3 dials), but didnt seem to stop when i applied some pressure to the top bit. I checked to see if it was the wipers too, and it wasnt.

Not sure whats going on here.

    Can anyone help??

  9. Cheers guys, NTF it is then!!! :teeth: and its only 30mins away from me!! ....as I live on the Stoke Park Estate where Dower House is (Big yellow castle for those bristolians!!!). Where abouts are you based captain sensible?

I tried to stop the squeaking on the brakes earliar with some copper grease from halfords....but got stuck when i got to releasing the calipers?and i left my tool kit at my brothers place.....im sure theres a guide on here somewhere...I remember reading it not long ago!!....Il try post some pictures up tommorrow too people...providing the weather is good, as its started to rain here already

  10. Hi everyone,

My names Bosh (yes thats right - Bish Bash and all :) ), im a 21 yr old student from Bristol and now a very proud and happy :teeth: owner of a Silver 2002 JDM zed with the alezan orange interior (like marmite - either love it or hate it :D ) - picked it up for an absolute bargain a few weeks ago from Bonsai Imports, but it had to go straight into the bodyshop for a bumper respray and a few stone chip repairs on the bonnet so its all ready for summer!!

Ive been on the forum a while now and must say this is an awesome forum and been really helpful, and you all seem like a great bunch of really helpful people....and would def be up for a meet with some you local zed owners to get some ideas of mods etc -if im allowed  as im very non mechanical!!

But yeh I got her back recently and been lovin every minute.....but noticed today the brakes are really squeaking, bit annoyed about this :rant: as they should had new brake pads before I picked it up, as it had a full mot and service done prior to me buying it.....but cant be bothered to drive all the way back to the other side of england to get them done....but im sure as hell gonna have a rant  down the fone to the guy tommorrow.

Can anyone in the Bristol area reccommend a good garage where I can get the brakes sorted??

    Cheers people
