  1. Around 8pm, lady driver, with a lady passenger. Looked
  2. Found this info: http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/sa ... afety.html The repaired stone chip i have is about where the the A is in the diagram, and is about 2mm, however with the resin is about 7mm.
  3. Even if i drive economically it never seems to have much effect, so now i just drive it the way it should
  4. I assume the line of sites anywhere in the centre of the drivers view, so maybe it should have had a replacement rather than a repair in the first place. May get a quote when i get a chance and see what the repairers say. Thanks for the info. Mine's nothing like that, just a small chip, but the resin reflects in the light making it look alot worse than it is.
  5. i average about the same, thanks to traffic lights and speed humps. i'm impressed when i manage to get anything above 25mpg
  6. haha. may consider either of those options. anything above about £300 wouldn't really be worth it, just to sort out an annoyance really. how is it decided whether the stonechip is patched up or a new windscreen is required, a crack or the severity of the chip? i can imagine ending up with just an additional repaired stone chip
  7. I did a quick search, and didn't really pull up a rough price. Would it be covered by insurance seems theres nothing actually wrong with the present screen?
  8. I've got stonechip which has been repaired on my windscreen by a previous owner, but its right in the drivers view and its getting slightly annoying. Anyone here had a windscreen replaced and have an idea of how much it costs for the 350Z? Obviously not going to pay a fortune though, and none of the major windscreen replacement companys seem to give a quote online. Thanks
  9. Just moved into a house down the road on Friday, saw it parked up a few times before we moved in not far from the Weavers, plate reads BEN, haven't see it since i moved in, but i have been unpacking boxes all weekend.
  10. I was in the Azure Zed, you gave me a wave and i followed you for abit, wondering if it was anyone here?

    Admiral hassle!

As long as the operator can give you a quote through their systems, it should be fine, but for some reason it was giving them errors because i wasn't 21, even though the online quote didn't mention anything about being 21. If i do a quote for a Z4 and alot of other cars i simply don't get a quote. Was very strange. Good luck finding a 350z, and hope you don't get any of this hassel when you do!

    Admiral hassle!

Worst thing is, i've bought the car purely because i knew i could get the insurance, was well stressed thinking i wouldn't insure it, but really with a quote they had to insure me all along. One good point was the call centre was english!
  13. Picking up my 350Z next week, so phoned up to sort my insurance, did a quote online, admiral were the cheapest, was with them anyway. And they said they couldn't insure me because i was 20, even though i had a quote with my exact details online. I explained the situation, and the guy on the phone said he'd talk to his manager.. waited 30 mins.. no call. Ring the help line, and the message was something along the line of "There has been an emergency evacuation of the building", checked the website and they actually close customer service at 5pm. So i rang up another line that closed at 8pm, they couldn't help, then finally got through to someone helpful and managed to get it all sorted. Just some advice, if you're 20 and considering admiral, do expect alot of trouble, and make sure you have an online quote reference to prove they quoted you! - not that i can complain, as they were half the price of anywhere else, but alot of hassle.
  14. Yep, exactly! Also, anything comprisable for the same price would have had higher mileage anyway The alloys and interior look in great condition as well, which is normally a sign its been treated well. Can't wait for the 60 mile drive back with her!
  15. Thanks for all the comments Mileage isn't as low as i was looking for 45k, but it was in great condition and one of the few i could find in my price range with the GT pack and rays - also has the bonus of the birdview, even if they are crap! Stubby will most likely be my first purchase, fancy some nismo kickplates as well!
  16. Doubtful you'll remember me, but I’ve popped in a said hi before, but now after months of search and saving, I’ve finally bought a 350Z! As I’ve been looking my budget has been crawling up and up, but i think i got quite a good price, from a Nissan Dealership with 3 years warranty - enough of the boring stuff and some pics: Waiting for a couple of weeks now to pick it up, as my insurance goes down dramatically and also transferring my private plate off my current car
  17. Indeed i am. Yeh it was a sunset, looked like a lovely example! I guessed, as students can't use the University car parks, so it's got to be a staff member. Just bought a Azuze 350Z, after around a year of looking, not getting it till mid-feb for insurance reasons though
  18. Spotted as i was going in today at around 11 - think i have seen the same 350Z in other university car parks
  19. Saw the silver coupe parked in about the same space yesterday, was gona leave a note on the windshield but didnt have any paper handy - was also in so much shock at how much 2 hours in that car park costs, £4! It used to have a £5 daily limit, won't be parking there again!
  20. Was walking up to the car park and saw a red coupe looking for a space, by the time i got to the car park, i couldnt see you! About noon today
  21. Saw you parked up a drive as i was passing through today, anyone here?
  22. Spotted the first on the way into uni, silver 53 plate. Then the second parked next to it on the way back, blue 53 plate (i think i've seen before parked up on the way out of bedworth). Think its cox street car park, might be called something different, the little one under the ringroad. I also see a black jap 52 plate most days parked along the road from the wallace pub in kersley/holbrooks area. Wondering if its any of the members here!
  23. Still not decided, i've looked into pre-built car pcs, as i only need a low spec, and i think i've decided it works out cheaper than building it myself, which was the plan in the first place.
