  1. the stuff alex came with for the roof was £8 I think but I could be wrong Email him at http://www.seriousperformance.co.uk/Contact.html always alex has the right stuff for job
  2. 8th Place GT4 car I see my GTR is at the front of the queue in the above pictures. There are some pictures on the GTR forum of the GT1 car and race here http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/116878-day-races-gt1-races.html like this one enjoy
  3. I put on a set of rays locking nuts I had lying around. its officially the wifes car her words were "whatever" when she saw them. Had a nice drive in it today. it some ways its more fun than the GTR
  4. Finally the 1000P was removed with a spritz of Finish Kare #425 QD and my SP Uber Plush Detailing Towels… The finished article (Thanks to Robbie for some wide angle shots here and sorry theres so many lol)… looks a dam site better, just need to get that clicking axel sorted now
  5. I had Alex and Rob from serious performance detail the 350z roadstar He wrote a little ditty on how he did it so I thought you would like a look, over to Alex, hope that's OK The car wasn’t to bad on arrival, just a lot of pollen and not terribly swirled swirled: A few bugs… A lot of tar spots on the outer lips but wheels also in pretty good nick… The visible swirlage… So we got to work… Pre washed with Duragloss 901 CWC Shampoo through the Gilmour Foam Gun and followed by a wash with my SP Sheepskin Mitts and the same shampoo… Wheels and around badges were cleaned with Finish Kare #817 Sparkle Plenty and one of my SP Detail brushes (with lid). Once the car was dried with my SP Uber Plush Drying Towel we set to work claying the car. My new SP Ultra Fine Detailing Clay was used with some Finish Kare #146 Finish Restorer QD. The car wasn’t too bad, pic shows with half the bonnet done and the rest of the car was a breeze…. Even the wheels, although having lots of tar spots cleaned really easily. Once the car was clayed we cleaned the roof storage area was cleaned and the roof proofed with Meguiars new Convertible & Cabriolet Weatherproofer: Engine bay was also given a going over with Finish Kare #817 Sparkle Plenty and then dressed with Finish Kare 108 Top Kote Dressing. Engine was left to run for 10 mins: The car was then polished with Meguiars D-151 Reconditioning Cream and what will be our new SP 5 inch pads by Dual Action Polisher. The only time the rotary was used was on the bonnet of the car. Once this was completed, the car was rewashed to remove any dust and particles from polishing: The roof Proofer didn’t bead as well as expected but took in virtually no water at all compared to when the car was first washed so was very happy with it overall: Then finally a coat of Finish Kare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant was applied: While this was curing the exhausts were cleaned with Finish Kare #394 Metal Polish. The interior and boot were hovered while leather, trim & tyres were dressed with Finish Kare #108 Top Kote Dressing:

  8. hampton area and work down the M3 so yes. just been out in the 350, really enjoying it besides the clicking sound
  9. yep it was the 350 in the family before it was detailed, more pics to follow
  10. thx for all the welcomes, this is a really nice place. The info on the clicking noise is good to know. We have been driving the car around all weekend and as I speak the wife is outside with the CD on trying to work out the sat nav Link for the chicks and R35 thread http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/113662-chicks-r35s.html
  11. So how about a joint meet? I get some GTR's together and you some 350z's? This forum has already starting me thinking about a ipod interface with the bose, decat + aircleaner and a new rear bearing, I've only been here a few minutes
  12. thx... its a 2005 model, I thought it was the clip in the brake pad as you can move it around with your finger
  13. expensive? as I purchased off a non-Nissan dealer
  14. I don't like linking to another forum, don't want to upset the mods
  15. so the deed has been done and we own the blue roadstar it needs a bit of detailing and besides a clicking from a rear brake alls well. My drive does look like a Nissan dealers at the moment
