Hello hope no-one minds me posting this

I have been put in charge of planning/booking a holiday to Tenerife and had choosen a hotel I was very happy with however it has been decided that we go self catering so now I'm stuck!!!

It's Kenny and I along with my brother and dad who are going and the responsibily of booking has been left to me!!!

Has anyone got any suggestion/recommendations of decent self catering places? We would be looking at Playa De Las Americas/Los Christianos area and would like to be close to bars/resturants/shops.

I was looking at Parque Santiago as I know exactly where they are and think that area would be fine for us but they get some awful reports on trip advisor which has put me off !!

We went for a drive yesterday and ended up at Cullen the sea was very rough so we thought we'd park and take some photos the first one is mine and the second one is by a random man who had a very fancy camera!

Devastating news never met you Ian but from what i've read here from members who did meet you it sounds like you were a great and very well liked guy, hope it may comfort your family and friends to know how well thought of you were on here.

If you are going to be beside Harrods I'd recommend a trip across to Dornoch and further North Dunrobbin Castle its like I imagine a fairy tale castle to be it has beautiful gardens and birds of prey demonstrations in the grounds

Yeah I did just about every coaster there....love them! My favourite is still the hulk at islands of adventure though.

The Hulk was my favourite too, been ten years since we were there tho, I'm sure there would be loads of new things now I'd love to go again
