Can anyone tell me what the black pipe attaching to the back of the (hub) that has the small bit of red tape on it. Is this to do with the handbrake and how can i remove this to install the new parts. Thanks.

On the 2nd picture in this repair, can anyone tell me what exactly the pipe at the bottom with the small bit of red tape is, and how can this be removed. Im replacing the rear wheel hub, thanks.

Need hub assembly, with cv joint and control arms. Also need 1 18" Rays alloy, all due to a crazy big hole in the road!! Raging! Thanks Guys!!
