  1. Guys, I am a woman-driver lacking ANY idea about electronics. For my birthday I am going to ask for a sat-nav to be professionally fitted into my 2007 Nissan 350z. It needs to look neat, i.e. like a factory fitted part. I have been recearching the web for hours and failing to understand the links regarding Alpine systems, monitors and different navigation programmes installations. These seem to be posted by different technicians and I find them confusing. Also, are they up to date? Are they for the UK? Please, could somebody advise me as to: 1. Is there a chance to have a sat nav fitted, so it looks good and works well in the uk; 2. If so, what reasonably priced parts the fitter would need to use; 3. Is it better to get a 6,5 inch screen or 7 inch screen? 4. Do you keep your BOSE system working your 6 CDs or install a totally different unit instead of BOSE?; 5. How much would the parts cost me? ...or any of the above... Thank you in advance...
  2. I had 2 kits (4 back and 2 front) installed for £380 inclusive of the installation fee and VAT at Sparks & Sensors in Kirkham (which took half day). They were initially painted, then fitted under the plate. There is a tiny black button for the front ones at the bottom right of the control pannel. The back ones switch on automatically when in the reverse gear. So it helps a lot as they beep once when you change it into the reverse gear. Fabulous work. Can't be without now. Recommend Sparks and Sensors also!
  3. I have the 07 and the only time I hear the indicators is when the music is switched off. Moreover, they cancel on roundabouts but only if you make an over 45 degree turn.
  4. I have a very majour problem with my Z. My husband loves borrowing it...
  5. Hi Dima, I am a Russian also. Weldome to the forum! Privet! I wonder what you feed your baby-Nissan with in Vladivostok? Can you get Shell's V-power there? Marina
