  1. Hi all Finally picked up my 350z last week, just a few pics after a clay, polish and a wax. Looking to get a megs g220 on it soon but am happy with the results so far, very glad I made the decision of azure blue, can't beat the shine when the suns out. Car is great to drive, not quite so tight and precise as my type r used to be but it does lots of things better thats for sure, phomenial grip for one! Love the sound of the thing, but cant help feel I need to hear it a little more, K1 on the way me thinks!! Enjoy.... Pics of the Type R:
  2. I managed to get him down £500 and hes kindly putting on 6 months tax. Very impressed with overall condition, a first being both doors dent free, every other 350z i viewed had a few dents in those huge doors. The front unfortunatly has few stones chips, all 350z's really do suffer with this dont they! Or is it just a case of the ones ive viewed have suffered quite bad. What azure did you put a deposit down on goatboy? spec, price?.....
  3. Managed to find a 350z at the weekend. Ad: www.pistonheads.com/sales/1204618.htm Hopefully picking up tomorrow. Cant wait What does everyone think? Anyone know the car. Overall very tidy, front has few stone chips and its had few owners but overall, very happy. Ill put some better pictures up after its had a detail. Regards Brett
  4. Bump... Viewed a 2003/53 low mileage Azure Blue at the weekend up for 12.5k but was appalled by the condition. Dents along passenger door, front bumper looked like it had very hard life, stone chips everywhere and even though the car had parking sensors the rear bumper was badly marked. There must be a mint Azure out there somewhere......
  5. Bump....Anyone with a Nismo???
  6. Wanted as per title, Kuro Black or Azure Blue Mileage not too much of an issue, under 60k preferably. Budget around 11k Looking daily on 350z for sale section, autotrader and pistonheads. Let me know if you are looking to sell, money waiting
  7. Hi Looking to purchase a 350z within the next couple of weeks, With the running costs of that V6 im hoping to get some sound out of it, after lots of research on here and hours of listening to sound clips ive decided on a Nismo S-tune Catback and Berk High flow cats. Trader prices for a new Nismo Exhaust I sadly just cannot justify, have seen some good 2nd hand prices though over past few months so if anyone is looking to sell, please get in touch Thanks Brett
  8. Hi All Managed to sell my Type R on Friday which I am over the moon about, ad here http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1115353.htm Looking to stay japanese, needed something with bit more grunt, appeal and an engine you dont need to rev the nuts off, so ive decided the 350 is for me. Have around 10-10.5K to play with so hope to pick up a UK spec 03-53 with average miles. Its now just the daily grind of constant page refreshing on autotrader, pistonheads etc Basically just a post to say Hi, and I will keep you updated when I find a car, big question is how long can I manage without a daily driver. How many owners on here have gone from a Type R to a 350z? did you feel it was the right move? Cheers Brett
  9. After finding it hard to decide on a wheel for my white 350Z im considering getting the original 18" Rays painted Gold. I have seen a few threads of people who have powdercoated the standard wheels etc but does anyone have any pictures of the wheels done in gold?? Can anyone also help me with some pictures of a 350Z with 18" OEM Rays but lowered? Ive had a search through the gallery etc but only come up with one result. Any info would be great. Brett
  10. Would be grateful for that please, hopefully then I can make my mind up. There is a black 350z at work with gold sf winnings which are used all year round. With the recent snow we have had down here in the south a close inspection of them the other day proved they were far from good condition, polished lip looked ruined. For me that would feel a little bit of a waste of 2 grand +. I liked the look of the TSW Thruxtons, great value for money, considering the lip etc. I think gold is the only way forward though for a white 350z. Sarnie's Diamond Black SF Challenges for £1650 from JDM Performance seemed a good price. Im assuming thats when the exchange rate was better
  11. Many Thanks for the replys 12+ week wait , I can understand why though, absolutely stunning wheels which I cant get my mind off. I am interested in a set of gold challenges though and for the price, I dont think I could compromise Look how good they look on PPW: With the exchange rate so poor against the $ I was expecting a similar price. Decisions decisions decisions!! Perhaps I should think about a cheaper make. Problem is I cant think of any wheels ive seen in gold which look good on a 350z apart from the volks! TE37's, GT-S, Challenges, Winnings. There must be something out there, any ideas? They must be staggard fitment, 19" and in gold?? Only colour for PPW imo. Brett
  12. Can anyone tell me any UK suppliers for Volk or Axis Wheels please? I am preferably after some Volk SF Challenge alloys but apart from american sites I am finding it hard to locate any. Ive seen a few members on here with Volks etc, where did you purchase them from? Can I also ask, people with expensive wheels, if you run them all year round how have you found them in the winter months. Has the salt on the roads had much effect? Thanks Brett
