Yes mine triple gauges reads in MPH, I wonder if it just a straight replacement with a KM? and also if I replacement the whole speed dial set (including rev & speed, and the Mileage display), what will affect to mileage display? does that also converts the existing car mileage to KM?? thx for reply

Hi, I am looking for a passenger side (left side) air vent cover. Where the junction to feed air to the door, there is a triangle (kinda) shape with a Z in the middle, black colour. Not sure if the facelift & pre are any different, I am after one for a facelift version. Pic: (found on this forum, but this guy spray paint it to silver. I need a black one tho) I dont mind to buy the pair (both passenger & driver side) if required. I wonder anyone have a spare please? thx.

My alarm LED on the dash wasnt connected, or I should say when I take the LED out using a flat head screwdriver, the wire is not attached and nowhere to be seen inside the hole! Now I am thinking maybe I can run my own wire to the alarm module to connect it up again, but I will need alot of help...for example location of the alarm module? Wiring diagram for the LED blinking? etc My zed is a 2007 facelift model, with stock alarm system. 2nd question is, I also take out the passenger side, and there is a wire attached to it, what is that? It does not light up or anything. The plug is different than the LED one. Thanks.

I actually facing another problem at this moment. I was looking to get a spare key as the car only came with one. So i bought an uncut key fob off ebay, and got it cut in an local locksmith. All fine. Now i can unlock the car with the original fob, and insert the new spare key, but it can only turn from LOCK to ON, and cannot start the engine. This must due to the engine immobiliser. I followed all the methods in http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15966 on how to program the keyfob, but the procedure does not work on my 07, there are no flash lights nor any clicking sounds. I tried to trick the igition by placing my original key near the keyhole, and turn with my spare key. Now the igition motor will start but it cannot fire the engine. Does anyone know anymore details regarding the factory alarm system? It seems the key must be coded in some way. Anyone has any info to it?

tried this on a 07 model, it doesnt flash after 6 times nor any clicking sound. I wonder have they changed the procedure, anyone know?

took it to dealer today, they said there was fault in the alarm module. need to wait for few days to get the parts in. so will be fixed under waranty. sweet! thank everyone.

so do you think there is a problem as well in my alarm? are there any other way to make it sound? I remember in my old toad Ai606 from my previous car, i can press & hold the unlock button and it will turn into panic mode which the alarm will kick off. Anything equivalent in the zed?

i bought the car from a private seller, there are no paper work regarding any warranty. Can I just bring it to any dealer? Will they fix it for free do you think? thanks
