  1. I will be there, so anyone else who is still going please come over and say hello, we will be the car that when we stop my co-pilot will be opening his door and being sick into his helmet (He always does it!!) We are being featured in Banzai Magazine, we are also in this month, check out my sig Cheers Sleg
  2. GT4 Zed thats an excellent plan, I am already all booked into the Dorint at the Ring on saturday, and we are travelling on the Friday to Brugge, Just to break up the journey a bit as the ring isn't open until lunch time. But I look forward to meeting up with you all there and show some of the other cars I am going with what a proper car forum is about There are some experienced drivers in my group so anyone wanting a passenger lap i will try to sort it out for you. (they have EVO X's, a BMW CSL, hopefully someone there is coming in their new GT3 RS ) Sleg
  3. If people are definately up for this, then you need to start looking at accommodation, we usually stay at the Ringhaus but I think its already booked up. There are 16 of us already going so we have received a discount and are staying at the Dorint (Overlooking the GP, start/finish straight) not costing us a lot more. On the way to the Ring on Saturday we always take the scenic route, via a small town Eupen, they do a great beer (for the non-driver) and you get to watch some nice exotic cars on their way to the Ring Sleg
  4. That's an excellent claim to fame Do they need any sound effects for the sound of kerbing alloys, just done mine!! Sleg
  5. Count me in!! I am getting a vbox lite system fitted to my car before my trip in May, linked into two cameras so will hopefully get some good footage Sleg
  6. Sorry forgot to add lap prices, Ticket type Confirmed Price per lap calculation in brackets Single lap €22 (€22) 4-laps €75 (€18.75) 8-laps €145 (€18.13) 15-laps €250 (€16.67) 25-laps €390 (€15.60) Sleg
  7. Hi ZedJohn I will be going back to the Ring in May, then onto Spa. Leaving Friday 28th, then the track is open, Saturday from 13:15 to 19:30 and all day Sunday from 08:00 to 19:30. I recommend you try and get a lap with someone who knows there way round the first time, then just take your time and enjoy stringing a few good corners together. I have completed about 25 laps so far and know it quite well, until i get to the Karussell, then I just take my time. I have been under 10 minutes so I am happy with the Zed, its perfect for the ring, lots of grunt along the fast back straight, close to 130mph , I just don't like the idea of no insurance. I can try and give you any advice you want, directions, where to stay and eat etc. On the way back on the Monday we are going onto Spa on a MLR (Evo) day, I love Spa more than the ring, smooth fast corners and technical sections, but everyone has to drive the ring. Sleg
  8. The Spa track day was £250 with MLR, superb organisation, excellent group of people, will be doing this again same time next year!! I prefer Spa to the Ring now, I know my luck is going to run out at the Ring soon and getting insurance there is so hard. Sleg
  9. I am hoping to go back to the ring in August. Sleg
  10. I have the pics and a video now, but I must explain the vid!!!, My co-pilot wanted to know a reasonable time for going around Spa, we were told around 3:30 (Not sure if this is good??) this is exactly the same time as the classic Cheeky Girls song "Cheeky Cheeky!" so our challenge was to go around faster than that, hence the music !! some pics at the ring Sleg
  11. I have spent the long weekend putting my Z through its paces. First was a visit to the Ring and the car perfomed perfectly all the way there on the boring Belgium motorways and then onto the winding German roads to the ring, absolutely great fun. Once at the ring the car got into its own, handling is really balanced making me very confident, it has enough power to pull up some of the long straights and is just so easy to drive. I then took part in a track day at Spa. There were quite a few 350z's there (Notre350z i think?) including a Supercharged one putting out 450bhp the track really seemed to suit the car, lots of fast straights and some nice technical corners, I am no driver but the Z just felt so good and with no mods! Sleg
  12. Very Happy with the car as standard, but thinking about different pads, maybe a popcharger and different rear spoiler. I'll see how it goes this weekend around the ring and at Spa Sleg
  13. You wanted a pic, I like it even though at the moment its plain standard Sleg
  14. Hi all I've been lurking for a while and thanks to this forum have purchased 2003 Gun Metal Z, GT pack, Alezen interior, 36000 miles and in excellent condition. I was originally looking for a Boxster S (Please forgive me!!) as I am off to the Ring next weekend (2nd and 3rd May) and then a track day at Spa on the 4th. Just trying to get used to the handling and how to get the best out of it!! Sleg
