  1. yeah the bose system has its own amp. I have hardwired the ipod into using the tape deck as an aux input see - http://my350z.com/forum/4292171-post98.html I will put pics up soon as my install has a neat cradle for the ipod which charges and plays through the factory bose system. (soldering and time required but worth it).
  2. Thanks for your help however I had previously found that thread - notable omission being support for phone controls using the steering wheel. I guess its probably not possible. Thanks Tom
  3. Is it possible to retain the steering wheel remote controls (voice tag/answer buttons) when fitting an aftermarket HU with bluetooth phone kit built in? Has anyone been able to do this - is so what HU you using? Thanks
  4. Everyone has been asking about price so I have done some research and it seems to cost anywhere upto£1800 new from the factory. Others on ebay have sold £450-500 for nissan, so £450 delivered + your empty cubby hole/glove compartment to fill in my empty space when I remove the system. Thanks for looking.
  5. Thinking of selling my BIRDVIEW Factory fitted sat nav to free up some cash as I dont really have any need for it. Just bought the 2004 350z w/GT pack and hence figure I could put the funds towards the car loan. Anyhow, any offers for the system - it works with the CD drive for maps and comes with UK maps, programs and remote all working perfectly. As part of the deal I would request the purchasers cubby hole and glove box cover so that my car doesnt get have big empty spaces on the dash and where the CD drive was! Thanks in advance.
  6. Does the PA11-NIS definately not work on a 2004 UK 350Z with factory bose? I am aware that the 2006 stereo is different to mine. I have extensively researched this topic on this forum and others. I am 90% certain that it doesnt but I just want to know if anyone has tried it with the same car as mine. Also - I am keen to sacrifice the CD function of the player if there is a possibility of making the ipod connect perhaps via the CD function. Does anyone know if you can retrofit the PA11 NIS leads out of the plastic adapter and plug them one by one elsewhere perhaps into the existing CD port to get the ipod to work at CD expense? Sorry if I am making no sense it has been a long day!
