Went to Dastek in Dalgety Bay in 2005 (30 minutes drive for me) with my Zed for a dyno run and a chat about power upgrades.

 

Total waste of time and money as they were absolutely clueless with no Zed experience.

 

Don't know what they are like now and will never know because I will not return.

 

I now do a round trip of 1000 miles to get my mapping done by a HKS specialist who I can trust.

Hmmmm. I got an email back today and they say a Unichip can be fitted to my JDM Zed. They specifically asked weither it was JDM or UK, so they must have done some research on them lately.

£399.99 for installation and tuning.

I must admit, its tempting.

There must be at least one person on here running one?

Sorry for reserrecting an old thread but has anyone fitted a Dastek Unichip yet and did you see any noticable gains in power/torque?

I thought a Unichip would be a far cheaper alternative to going Haltech.

Yeah first time Ive noticed the profiles were different

Nope the TC does not kick in.

Cracking pics and 35 profiles, bit different, norm 30's i thought !

LOL Ive just had a 2nd look - 35 profile on the front and 30 profile on the rear, maybe thats why it appears to be slightly higher at the rear.
