Fellas,what's wrong? I f you wanted to know the spec of the engine you'd e-mail or call( if you were interested enough as a possible buyer not just a time waster). Why do half of you lot want to criticise ,hint of jealousy somewhere? Whats wrong with a few complements about the car-aren't they in the vocabulary? By the way you were right about the ****! but that doesn't mean it reflects on the car,

What about a well modded 03 with 16500miles in blade silver, 2 sets wheels etc etc?

Just to end my saga of the faulty window motor. I had taken it to main dealer (G LAMB)asking twice if the motor could be re-set.They were adamant it couldn't be and they took it apart diagnosing new motor required at a total cost of £517.39!! I bought one from Alex (£189) and proceeded to dismantle door. After removal of the door card I thought I'd try the re-set procedure,before going any further.What do you know-the existing motor worked just fine. Good old main dealer 0 out of 10 again. To his credit Alex will take back the unused motor, Bless him.

Thanks for the help and enthusiasm fellas. DIY seems a poss, particularly with the help of the pics. Could be a DIY Sunday, but still apprehensive-we've all broken clips etc removing door cards and not been able to replace them, so frustrating and annoying when it won't go back quite as it should.

Hello guys, can anyone point me in the direction of a Z specialist or at least someone who knows their way round the car without experimentation,in the Derbyshire/ South Yorkshire area?I need someone to fit a window motor.(and put it back together).Cheers Rich.
