  1. I'm doing it at College of Law in London Bloomsbury. I haven't got any traineeship lined up unforunately. My mate at Allen & Overy's been trying to help get one lol but I've been a bit too busy to properly apply for a training contract.

Lol trust me, you don't want to be a student again! This course sucks!

What are you talking about- the LLB was a doddle compared to this haha. I started revising for my exams on the day and never turned up to any lessons and I passed. Same for my Masters and did my dissertation in two days!

But you know better than me, on the LPC you actually have to work!

Really appreciate the offer to help. I'll deffo PM you if I need to discuss to extract some of your legal knowledge :) Thanks!

Things are different up here (I'm in Scotland) - our equivalent of the LPC is technically called the Diploma in Legal Practice (although a lot of us still refer to it as the LPC). They're meant to be on the same level I think, and serve the same purpose, but ours is obviously easier

Good luck on securing a traineeship, I know it's a nightmare - and even more so just now due to the credit crunch :headhurt:

Ah cheers. Yeah it is a nightmare and like you said, the credit crunch doesn't exactly help matters :bang: Buying a Z and then modding the heck out of it is proving to be good motivation though lol.

  3. Any updates on the car? You haven't sold it off yet have you?

This was sold as soon as all the work was complete, the next owner then had it for sale on pistonheads, whether it sold again i dont know

Oh okay cheers. I thought it was Zedrush advertising on pistonheads.

  4. Got mine today. Thanks martin! Great job mate

The postman clearly neglected the DO NOT BEND instructions. BAH!

But still, its notthing major :)

Just a suggestion though, I think someone mentioned it on here earlier. It would be brilliant if we could also get mini desk-top calenders. I would happily pay a little extra for one :)

  5. One thing to remember with the veilside, is one its wider, and two its low,

I already drive a car that's slammed to the ground so the car being low isn't too much of a prob I guess.

However, I dunno if you would happen to know how badly it compromises your ability to kinda let loose on the Z. I mean- can you still drift etc?

    Watch Tokyo Drift

Lol i mean in real life.

Not to say I'm an advocate of street racing...just curious as to whether you've been on the track with your car and let loose.

  7. Just wanted to say..a truly inspirational car. Don't mind me if I er...'borrow' some of your ideas in the future.

Its annoying though...your car makes me wanna go with Veilside and I get confused when I see stuff like this

What do you think man? What way would you go?

    Again..amazing car.

  8. let us know what you said in case we need to copy!

Just told him the truth, also mentioned that my wife is expecting so im always taking her to hospital appointments and stuff, judge took that into account mostly.

Also, i have a brother who is disabled, so im always taking him out and to the doctors.

So i think he realised that i had it pretty hard already and also mentioned that i sold the porsche ages ago, he asked what i bought, i told him i bought 2 family cars, a nissan & a mazda for the wife. He said "good boy, you seem to have taken your role as a family man very seriously".

He would have flipped if i told him i actually bought a 350z & rx-8.

Haha sorry to bumo this old thread but this cracked me up! Legend
