I never thought that would happen.
Are the z33 that good on track as the s2000 are incredable?

Hello
Well now the new year is in I want to get this 350 into the bodyshop and get the chassis legs changed over and jigged back up.
I hate using bodyshops as i have always been messed around by them in the past with other cars. I just dont trust them anymore.
So can anyone point me towards a bodyshop they have used and where happy with the work carried out?
Cheers guys and happy new year
Jamie

Too fing right my man

Yea will be keeping the car mate but i like the stock bumper with the Nismo splats plus i dont really want to go for a carbon boot lid if i dont have to. It would be getting colour coded anyway so not much point in having it carbon along with all the fitting issues:lol:
As said its my wifes car so the more stock the better for her

Yea us needy members

Cheers for that mate.
I have pmed him to see what he is doing

What a find. All i ever find in my garage is broken car parts.
-
Well been doing more today. I wanted to strip down the rear end to make sure it was all ok behind the bumper and while i was doing it have a go with Han's hair dryer to see if i could get some practice in on removing dents in plastic.:lol:lol
Rear end stripped down and not even damaged the insulator.
The damage to the bumper.
And after a quick heat up with the hair dryer dent start disapearing. The bumper is going anyway but i thought i would tidy it up for now,
There is a hole in the bumper plus it had been fixed before so a new one is on the way.
This one shows how far i managed to pull the dents and bracket out compared to how far the boot lid had been pushed in.
Abit cleaner to look at for the neighbours :lol
Going to keep the nismo rear splats and parking sensors but i will have to drill holes into the replacement bumper which i hate freaking doing.
Got to see if the boot lid can be saved which is scaring me abit.

I said affordable man
Titanium is light but very soft when hot. I have seen some mines systems that have just shredded to pieces from a speed bump.
Good find though mate.
-
I just brought 2.
So what is the next one down from that then that is actually affordable?

Happy New Year to all.
Especially Martin who was on hand to censor this post

Yea the local stealer is a back up but i have a guy who can get me some parts trade so sweet.
I brought the car as is for cheap from a guy off here. He crashed it going sideways into a lampost.
The rears are almost dead so will be upgrading soon.

Not to sure what toys it has. I know is have the nismo kit but not sure which one ?V1?
Havent really found a front bumper that i would like to put on it yet as it will be my ladys car when done and i will only be able to use it now and then

Hell yea sir.
Get that modding finger ready

Just been reading the nissan body repair manual and the bent chassis legs are repalceable. As its only the ends of them bent over it should be a easy fix. The car will still need jigging as the n/s chassis leg has been pulled over a tad. The o/s is sweet from nissans measurements.
The parts list isn't too bad but its getting longer:lol:
Good a wanted thread up if anyone could help out with parts.
So the rebuild begins. I was scared that i would have to break it but i have fallen in love with the car already:lol: and that would destroy me. I hate breaking up cars that can be fixed. I will save this thing if its the last thing i do.

Happy new year guys. Going on the **** now so i will apoligise for anything i post later

Cheers for the help guys

Hello
Trying to track down a few parts for my rebuild project.
I need a stock front bumper with the headlight washer holes. It looks they just get cut into the bumper in the workshop but not sure if all the bumpers come with the mounting lugs on the bumper? In blue if possible
Also a nismo front lip as the car has the nismo kut fitted.
I need a pair of uk 2004 xenon headlights are just parts of them really as it looks like you can rebuild them.
Boot lid maybe. In the blue is possible.
A rear n/s 2004 uk taillight. The red one.
A reverse and fog light for the rear bumper n/x
The plastic front panel ( front cross member really)
The metal headlight brackets both side's
Thats will do for now.
Any help finding them or even selling me them.

Looks sweet mate.
Who's R33 is in the garage ?
Well the hard work begins now

Well just payed for a load of parts so that it can go off to the bodyshop.
Payed for:
Whole Front end including all brackets and stuff
Front bumper in Azure Blue
Rear bumper in Azure blue
Standard air box
Rear light
Rear suspension arm
Front number plate backing plate
A big thanks to ZMANALEX for sourcing and supplying all these parts plus more to come
So that little lot will be getting sent off along with the bonnet and maybe new boot lid to get all the body work sorted and all that will be left is the headlights, rads and a few plastic jobbies.
I have had a quote today from a top notch bodyshop out Guildford way and they have quoted £1600 all in at the most which in turth shocked the @*!# out of me as that wont include putting new chassis legs on just fixing the old ones. They also said i will need a new boot lid as it will be cheaper to paint a new one then fix the old one. Aslo i might have to take the engine out to get it jigged if the n/s chassis leg is bad.
Im trying out another bodyshop that comes higly recommend by a few mates. Waiting on a reply from them tomorrow. They are 60 miles away but i know they do great work even if it does cost a fair bit it will be done propley first time as i hate using bodyshops.
I 'm a picky bastard when collecting cars from them and always find mistakes in their work.
Lets hope i find a good one
