erm....where's that upgrade list?!! No more plans as yet - though been out in it this afternoon, and deffo need a sub (small one, not chavvy!!)!! The frequency of the engine / exhaust noise completely drowns out any bass in the stereo!! Having siad that, another 30 or so BHP would be nice, but no easy way of achieveing this is there?

erm........they might be!!! Youre right - a real bargain, and cheaper than the Rays that are out there, and possibly better (or certainly equal) condition

for once i have no silly questions to ask, and dont need advice - just wanted to share this with you I replaced the standard HU some time ago with this: INFINITY-REF6522si.jpg[/attachment] This is a very simple install compared to some of yours i have seen, but i truly cannot believe the difference in sound quality - i was considering a sub, but it really doesnt need it. I am amazed at the difference Just thought id share that!!!!

well, all sorted now. Bought a set of top condition GT4 wheels for a bargain price - picking them up tomorrow, and fitting at weekend. Im chuffed really, as i didnt think id get a set of these for less than a set of 'above average' Rays are going for. heres one of them!: [attachment=0]GT4.JPG[/attachment]

well after searching loads of sites, im finally considering 3 options - some GT4 wheels, the affor metioned alloys, and im also waiting for a quote for a set of these Team Dynamic 19's - thoughts always welcome!! [attachment=0]jade r.jpg[/attachment]

Im not the biggest fan of the Rays, though admit that they're an improvement on the standard 18's. I wouldn't want a mangled set that needs serious repair though.

Hi Guys Im considering these new wheels, and would like some advice please. They are called 19" DARE R1 (River i think!), and specs are - 8 J X 19" 5X114 ET38 FRONTS 9 J X 19" 5X114 ET38 REARS They do come with 20 mm spacers to clear the brembos (apparently) [attachment=0]dare.jpg[/attachment] Questions: Does anyone have experience of these wheels or brand Will this offset suit with 20mm spacers What are general thoughts? I have a budget of around £800 by the way! Thanks in advance for your help / thoughts Ian

Hi All Only recently the Zed has started making a creaking noise from both sides of the rear suspension - has anyone else had this experience? Its only noticable when driving very slow - i.e backing off a drive, or manouvering onto a driveway etc. It will creak if you push the back end down by hand too. There appears to be nothing sinister going on back there and is performing well - could it be bushes drying out? If it helps, the car is only used approx once a week, and has only started doing this since the dryer / warmer weather Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Ian

Great........!! I could understand replacing the exhaust with an aftermarket one, but why would you need to - or even want to have it replaced by the likes of kwik fit Surely the original would'nt have corroded that quickly, forcing somebody without knowledge to go to Kwik Fit

the main difference (in appearance) is that the pipe ends are squared off - OEM's appear to cut at an angle

Hi Fellas A couple of you commented when i posted pics of the car that the Zorst didnt look standard. Ive taken a couple of pics - not very easy to do(!!) to see if anyone recognises it as an aftermarket system. Not that it matters, as it sounds good to me, im just curious now!!

well the fault warning light turned out to be nothing, and was reset by my local nissan dealer for the princely sum of £57.50!! Shame i curbed one of the alloys on the way back though!! There's another £50 to get that refurbed - but not yet, especially if i intend to be sliding around (unintentionaly of course) in it this winter!!!! Happy (ish!) days.
