  1. I saw a bog standard Quashqi with a Nismo badge in the grill.

I'd feel a bit embarrassed going to a car meet or similar place being seen by car enthusiasts pointing and commenting but hats off to the fella for not giving a monkeys and enjoying the "enhanced embellishment" on his grill.

I would however point and laugh out loud if there was a TypeR or AMG badge on the Quashqi

A work colleague of my mate put Bentley badges on his Chrysler 300c so my mate faked up a letter from Bentley saying they were going to take action against him and sent it to the guy. The guy came into work with the letter asking my mate for advice and he was told it sounds serious. 10 minutes later my mate sees him in the car park literally ripping the badges off his Chrysler! My mate never did tell him it was a joke

    Quality. Always count on mates.

I saw a standard megane the other day with a type r badge, an st badge and a renaultsport badge. Must have been a beast

  2. Got some good discussion points there. Like it. I'd agree with the point about leaving the car naked if having the kit.

I like how my nismo exhaust clearly has nosmo showing.

Is it a genuine Nosmo? ;)

It is a genuine nosmo exhaust!

Bloody fat fingers on my phone 😕

  3. I'd like peoples thoughts. I'm looking at painting my own calipers.

I'm looking at either the brake caliper specialists paint kit or VHT products, so primer, paint and laquer. Comes to roughly same price.

I'm more than confortable doing as done before. Just curious which one people would go for. Ones paint on other is spray.

  4. I'm guessing they haven't fitted a disable because they don't want you to do it.

Just as an indication i had a bag of shopping on the passenger seat the other day and the seatbelt not worn buzzer was going off so guessing the weight isn't that much to activate it

  5. I can't help it but every other day I get an itch for a 370z but then I jump in the 350z and it kind of goes away.

What kind of price should I be looking a 40k mile 370z?

Also what kind of price you think I should sell my 350z if it came to it?

If you went for an early 370z probs looking around 14-16k. Plenty about.

I wouldn't be to quick though. I had my 350z a while ago then a couple of different cars then went to 370z. I didn't quite get the same feeling i did in the 350z without doing some mods

  6. Fair play mate. I put a deposit down on my first zed without seeing it. Never again. Took their word for condition and it was shocking.

Hope all goes well though. But ultimately if your not happy when it turns up, turn it down

Been there on the last one (wasnt a grey Roadster?) spent my weekend travelling to see it and returned on the train. This is from a Nissan dealer, they adhere to certain criteria, so it should be as described, the video was a 5 minute walk around with commentary. If it's @*!#, it goes back, simple, at their cost ;-) If it's what I want and expect, all good.

What were the issues with the one you refer too?

Mine was from a Nissan dealer. I asked about marks on car and wheels. Told was spot on. No marks at all. Got travelled 100 miles and it looked like a dumper truck had unloaded gravel all over the car. Covered in stone chips.

And i mean absolutely peppered. Never seen a car so bad.

I learnt A LOT from that experience
