I didn't fancy spending money on an induction kit just for induction noise as I have read that you don't get any extra power from a better breathing filter on the Z. So.......I took out the filter box and attacked it with a 24mm hole saw , a couple of holes in the sides, 5 on the bottom and a couple on the front, none on the top. Put it back in with a new standard filter element and it looks the same. The noise however is great, cost nothing and it looks nice and standard You never know, an insurance inspector might want to see if there are any engine mods someday if the worst happens. After have loads of Honda CRX's and a couple of Type R's in my youth (10 years ago!) I never saw anything wrong with this.

I bought a Z not that long ago and these badges are on the mirrors, I think they look OK! Ok I would not have gone and bought them but I haven't pulled them off yet

I'm in N.Ireland and £250 will do it. £50 for a fight, £100 for ferry, and £100 for petrol and grub on the way (and that's if it's form N.Ireland to London) My mate is just back from Manchester with a £5000 BMW he bought there. The farthest I have gone is London to N.I. for a 928S4 Porsche (which is actually a very similar car to the Z)

I went from a jeep I had for 5 years to this and I think I need something in between £250 is all it costs to fly to here form England, put it on the boat and drive it home, I've done it several times. No big deal!

Budgets low! as low as you can go after all it's just some tubing that makes more noise and it's dead money when you stick it on the car. I don't know of anyone with a 350Z except me never mind a modded one!

HHHHmmmmmmm Powerflow sounds the best UK exhaust on youtube. Scorpion sounds a bit I'm terrible with big important decisions like this!

Thanks Digsy, that's maybe enough for me as I don't want something to loud, I saw an Astra coupe last night and the pipe on it was as loud as a Moto GP bike............I don't want that, just a bit louder, nice tailpipes and a bit more power. Not something that gives you a headache on the motorway! I'm looking at - SCORPION £375.....MONGOOSE £495......MAGNAFLOW £425 (15% Dis from here) Scorpion looks nice for the money and I read a wee review on it but I can't find any sound clips......... Gonna have a look now

Hi people, I'm in Northern Ireland and I've just bought a Z, 05 UK GT in grey, it's standard except for a NISMO gear knob! Can you help? I love the noise of it (though not as good as the Porsche 928 S4 Sport I had 5 years ago! 5 liters of V8 sounds great) but want it a bit louder + my standard pipe looks a bit rusty. If so what is it and whats it worth? It looks like Japspeed on the tail pipe. Thanks for any help!
