  1. Shuck, thought you may have past me a few times, on Ingleby and near your house!!

NE meet at any time would be great, name the place and time! especially from the top brass!!

Wheels do look great but no good for the winter, hard work keeping them top notch, just applied Jetseal to them in the last few weeks of the snow and that stuff does work wonders, stops corrosion forming on the chrome bits!! On the look out for winter wheels for autumn time.

Roll on the sunny weather, 3 degrees, don't care as long as the sun's out, hard us northerners!!

Thanks for the comments!! Just need to find a garage we can trust in the NE to look after the baby!!

  2. Just got round to uploading pics of my first Z. 3 months in and enjoying every minute including all the little quirks that make this car fab (leaking roof, fixed with help from this forum, clicking rear axle ongoing with Nissan).

Pics are just from phone so quality is just OK.

Picked it up from a local garage, 05 with only 6500 miles on the clock!!

Yes they are 20" wheels put on by the previous owner just before it was sold, crap tyres in the wet and hard work to keep these ones shining in the snow!!

The rest is standard but already want to start under the bonnet, few carbon bits and the cold air intake first, fancy keeping it simple, black and chrome; anyone know the best place to get a chrome intake pipe?

  3. Thanks for the suggestions but I don't think its the brake sticking after they have been wet. Its not a clunk, it feels like the antilock kicks in, a quick vibration you get just for a few seconds.

  4. I have not had my first 350 for long but it has a brake fault.

If the car has been parked for a while and I reverse then move forward the first time I brake it sounds as if the antilock kicks in for a second. One I have braked once the problem doesn't happen again until the car stands for a while. If its been parked for a short time, no problem.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

    Cheers

  5. I had the opposite with Directline, changed in October to a 350z, they put my annual quote up to £660, penalty if i moved. Now ready to move having got quotes from links on this site, Directline post me a quote at £397, same conditions. If I go online £550... confused... you will be!!

Think I will go with the post quote this time.

  7. Hi

Can anyone recommend a good place to get servicing done in the North East please? Had my 350z about eight weeks and its service is due in the not to distant future and don’t really want to hand it to my local Nissan dealer. I am near Middlesbrough / Darlington.

    Thanks!

  8. Hi

Whats the best way to get an ipod to work with the Bose headunit without having to resort to fag lighter fm plugings and charger leads etc.

Seen the US-Spec unit but can't find a similar kit available in the UK?

    thanks
