  1. Hi gstraw, I never even thought about posting them up for sale before I took it off the car. I had to sell the car as I have a wee one on the way and had to get a family car. You are right what you say about the youtube videos not giving an accurate sound to appreciate the exhaust. I hadnt heard the system when I ordered it from the states. I had just watched the videos and read various reviews. I was not disappointed and all the reviews were spot on. This system complements the car completely. Im not a fan of having a constant drone so I wanted a system that produced a good noise under acceleration but no drone when cruising on motorway and this system delivered. A member from this site is interested in purchasing but I will let you know if it doesnt go through.
  2. No one interested? I guarantee you will be delighted with the note of this exhaust. As said, open to sensible offers. If nothing received with a couple of days I will just list it up on ebay.
  3. I was the same as you when I was looking as I didnt want anything too loud and definitely didnt want a constant drone while cruising at motorway speeds. I found this exhaust gave the perfect balance on noise under acceleration but also no drone. There might even be someone near you that has this fitted and could let you hear it.
  4. Hi WinkJ. The location is Falkirk in Scotland. Not looked into shipment costs but could if your interested
  5. No offence taken. They have been a bit neglected recently due to personal circumstances but you are completely correct. After a bit of tlc they come up looking great. I've just gave the back box and tips a quick clean and here is the result.
  6. Hi, I have for sale my Stillen Cat back exhaust. The exhaust has just been removed and the original fitted as Im changing car next week. This exhaust was the best modification I have ever made to a car and it sounded great on the car. The stock exhaust doesnt do the car justice. There are quite a few videos on youtube demonstrating the difference between stock and this exhaust. You will not be disappointed. The exhaust has done about 20,000 miles. I have attached a pic of the system. The system has literally just been removed from the car so all the road grime has still to be cleaned off. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. This system cost over £1000 to import from the US. Looking for £600
  7. Who fitted your replacement maxi? Mine is getting done by National Windscreens. If they had taken the time to remove all the trim under the bonnet they would have more than likely fitted it properly first time. They were too lazy and never took off the brace bar to allow them to take the final piece of trim off and instead just slid it under the trim but this didnt allow them to line up the window properly and then located it with the locator pins being in the correct place.
  8. thanks will. Thats much appreciated
  9. Thanks for all the replies. It seems like they have fitted the correct screen but fitted it incorrectly. They hadnt even located the locating pins in the holes. I have since had the windscreen removed and refitted but they have arsed it up again. When removing they removed the pins as they said it was better to fit without the pins. The window kepts sliding down and they had to keep pushing it back up. Now that is set Im still not sure it is fully located at the top but I have also noticed that it is not sitting flush on the passenger side inside next to the plastic trim and that it is not properly centred. I have raised a complaint and they are now going to come back out to inspect again. Could someone be so kind and take a picture of thier roadster front windscreen showing it meeting the seal at the top so I can show how it is meant to look. If someone could do this it would be much appreciated. My local nissan dealership has no 370z's in.
  10. Thanks for the reply. I feel the exact same. Maybe if it wasnt a dealer part then it might require some modification but this is a dealer part so I feel it should fit perfectly.
  11. Hi, Has anyone had their windscreen replaced on their 370z? At the weekend a stone hit my windscreen and caused a 12 inch crack down the window. The window was replaced on Wed by National Windscreens but when it was fitted I noticed that there was a half cm gap at top of window to the seal/roof. I mentioned it to the guy and he said it was a dealer part window and that the locator pins on the window were located properly and that they wouldnt allow the window to move to meet the seal. He wrote this down on the job sheet and said his manager would get in contact. I received a call the next day from the Warranty Manager and he said he was going to come out and carry out the 'repair'. I asked him what he meant by repair and he went into a story how he had been in the industry for 19 years and quite often these dealer parts need modified to fit the car so he was going to remove the window, cut off the tabs and then relocate the window by moving it up the half cm to meet the seal. After explaining to him that surely that cant be right and that would put the black framing out of alignment and also for the rain sensor he still wasnt understanding and is now coming out to have a look for himself. I wondered if they had fitted a coupe window as mine is the convertible and by looking at pictures the window on the coupe looks smaller but I have been told the window is the same for coupe and convertible. Surely a genuine Nissan window would be a direct replacement and would fit perfectly without any modification! Has anyone had their window replaced and did you have an issue like this? Any help and comments will be much appreciated. Thanks, David

I had the Falkens on my 350 and would definitely look into getting them on the 370 when needed
  15. Awesome!!! Very happy with it. It gives a nice deeper tone on starting and accelaration but has no drone while cruising whether at 30mph, 60mph or 70mph. Obviously couldn't check at any higher speed @Chris: Been a pleasure doing business with you mate. Will definitely keep you in mind for any future business. Thanks.
  16. Well that's it in the garage. Now the waiting game for the phone call to say it's ready!!
  17. Thanks for the comments. Yeah, can't wait until it is fitted. It only came yesterday but Wednesday seemed so far away on Monday.
  18. Hi, Well I finally make the decision to go ahead and order the Stillen. Instead of going down the road of importing the system myself, I decided to get Chris (Tarmac) to do all the hard work for me. It would have worked out slightly cheaper if I had imported it myself at collected it at Glasgow airport but factoring in the hassle and petrol cost it was more than worth the extra few pounds to get Chris to get it delivered to my door. Through out the decision making I had inudated Chris with questions and I have to say his help through the whole process has been second to none and would not hesitate in using him again and recommending him to others. Another added bonus by getting Chris to arrange collection/delivery was it arrives so much quicker. Normal lead times can be up to 2 weeks (although is usually about a week) depending on how long it takes to pass through customs. With Chris having a business account it clears through customs in hours rather than days. Order was placed on Tues 1st March, was collected from Stillen on Thurs 3rd March and arrived at my door on Mon 7th March. Here it is freshly unpacked out the box: I've kept the protective sheeting on to protect it while its transported to garage for fitting. It is booked in for 10am tomorrow to get fitted and can't wait to hear the difference. Will let you know my thoughts after I have been for a run tomorrow.
