Been out of a zed for a few years now but married and house bought was time to treat myself again!

So was speaking to my mate Glenn from fastcar and he mentioned Jules and midge were thinking of selling their dream build 350z so a few tits later and I was on my way to see it!

Pickes her up on Tuesday and love it! Spent today fitting h-dev plenum spacer tweaking with the head unit and attempting to fit throttle controller but can't get it to work! Headers are going in next week to make full stainless system and then off to Jez at the end of the month for a re-map!

I know what goes into the multi plug I know where the Jack goes what I can't work out is how to power the thing have tried 2 ways and blown fuse both times

Any ideas?

Hello Just trying to fit this and can't get it to power up?

Have pushed plugs together as hard as I can! Eml is now on not to worried about that but would like this to work

Am I doing anything wrong?

Car is currently owned by my mrs who is a Toyota employee. The car is part of Toyota's loyalty sceme so servicing is cheaper. If car is locally bought then we can get future servicing done cheaper again while the mrs still works for Toyota.

Car is still in Toyota Assist Sceme which includes RAC nationwide recovery.

Selling due to purchase of brand new car.

Car is currently on private M3LKU which is forsale seperatley but if car is sold before this sales then will let it go with the car.

Nope did not make a difference to my insurance as said you would not get a full payout but then your not paying full whack.

oh and the interior is excellent the whole car is to be honest i really wish i did not have to sale her

i only got what i was told to go on & the invoices i've got

i have stripped the car down & cant see any marks of jig work etc. or paint being used anywhere on the chasis, engine bay, inner wings etc.

thought it was strange as well but have heard people can refuse to have the car back and then i suppose the insurance co. have no choice to write it off?

I have had the front end off myself and can see no other signs of damage and have invoices for the wing

yea pics are 10k old but car looks just as good only with new rubber on the back!

i dont wanna go any lower than 9k ideally i would of liked 10 but the price in Z's seems to just be going down & down! she will deffo be a bargin for somebody!

Need to free up some cash for my wedding next year so it's time to say goodbye to my Z.

Had her for 18+ months now & she is in excellent condition please dont let the fact she is Cat D put you off just means you can get an excellent car for cheap.

She was involved in a very ligth front end accident! She just required a N/S front wing replacing which i have an invoice for a gen part, still original bumper & head light!

She's just done 45k with FSH just been MOT'd & is Taxed til end of the year.

well i got the invoices for the parts but no pics of the damage!

Yea i thought ti was about 20% & i feared it was about 9k!

very light front end damage still original bumper & headlight but needed a wing replacing! managed to track down company who did it etc. got invoices for gen wing that was used.

Been thiking of selling the Z its a 54 plate uk gun metal GT pack with 45k FSH, bluetooth, parking sensors, the altenza(spl) leather, 350z mats, tennau(spl) cover, cargo net, carbon front insert, clear reflectors, stubby areil basically all the bits except the nav, car is in excellent conditon inside & out but it is CAT D

What would the car be worth if straight? & roughly how much cheaper does CAT D make it?

Hi all,

My Bose sound system seems to have an intermittent fault where sometimes it’s nice & loud then under a bit of hard breaking or cornering its gets quieter. So using the balance option I found out that when listening to a cd the left hand side of the car sounds crackly & bassy! & the right side is perfect but when listening to the radio both sides are fine.

I assume all the speakers are amped & not connect direct to the head unit?

I assume this is a dodgey connection on the amp? Or some wires touching maybe?

Where is the amp located in the car?

But if you can get hold of a jdm key make sure it is from a Z not just any old jdm nissan key

How much are these goin to stick out of the arch on the rear!?

Can i roll/pull the arches enough!? Obviously going to have to run some serious camber as well lol!

Has any body flared their arches!? pics?

If you can get a key that is from a Z then they can re-programme it! they will say it might not work but it did with mine!

luckily i had a mate @ nissan & he had a spare z key so i didnt have to run the risk of buying a ebay key & it not being from a z!
