  1. I was thinking about polishing the rim on my rays? stick some pics up would be interested to see how they come out! not really enough dish on them though for my liking hence why i want some WIDE 19's :teeth:

  2. Hi all,

Until i find myself a nice set of 19s my mate is going to re-furb my rays for me(be good to have as a winter wheel) my car is GM so going to get the wheels done GM as well but i qutie like the idea of rim tape as the rays are a more "motorsport" wheel

Has anybody else done this to their stock rays!? I'm thinking of having the tape the same colour as the brembo's!?

    Cheers,

  3. They are currently on a skyline so should bolt on a z.

would like some a little wider but these are a good price and not seen much on the 2nd hand market.

et38 not ideal but nothing spacers cant fix could i go more than 20mm on standard ride height? as car isn't lowered yet

  4. Hi all

Looking for a set of 19's i have wanted to go 10-10.5 wide on the rear but have found a set i like but are only 9.5 on the rear. How much weaker will they look? or is it a case of whack a set of spacers on and will be fine? They have plenty of dish and are et38 so iwas thinking a 20mm spacer? also i assume a 10.5rear may give issues with dropping the car that i wouldn't get with a 9.5?

    Thanks

  5. it's a deceptively quick car ..............especially over long distances :)

Hit nail on head with that comment!

IWhen i 1st opened mine up i wasnt impressed but glanced @ the speedo & thought christ i'm shiftin here pushing 120(on private road) & it felt like 50

excellent off the line(when esp off) so much grip!

  6. Just called Nissan & they said they cant guarantee it will work as it doesn't on all of them but they will be happy to try & take my £45+vat even if it doesnt work!

So my mate has a few keys we can try so fingers crossed 1 works

  7. Hello,

If i were to buy a key off ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNCUT-NISSAN-X-TR ... 240%3A1318

    or

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-2-button-r ... 240%3A1318

can that be re-programmed to my car?

I have a blade cut to my locks already & i have tried coding a key before but it didnt work it has the same code on the back of the key as my original key. I took it to a friend @ nissan who tried to do it as well but couldnt get it to work(apprentice) he asked the parts people who said apprently i have to buy a hole complete key from nissan as they can only be programmed once.

Is this correct!? or is there a way to re-programme a 2nd hand key!?

    Thanks,

  8. Yaris gone! my sister cam eover & took it & left me her corsa! so once i've serviced it & cleaned it(may take serval days it's dirty) will stick a post up!

  9. Hi All,

The Mrs. Car is up for sale as we bought ourselves a dog last month which is quickly turning into a horse so we needed something with more room so just got a Rav4.

Toyota Yaris GS 1.0 16v VVTi

    1999 V

170k (don’t let this put you off)

    3 door

Red with body coloured bumpers & mirrors

E/windows (drivers side is one touch)

    C/locking

    Cd player

15†alloy wheels + 14†steel wheels & trims all have brand new tyres on alloys & steels

FSH (Think all Toyota) just been serviced last month

    Tax: 30/04/09

    MOT: 25/09/09

    5 speed manual

Split folding rear seats which also move back & forwards to allow more boot space or leg room

    Power steering

    ABS

    On-board computer

    2 keys

As I said it’s the Mrs. car & she works for Toyota so anything that has needed doing has been done it was just serviced with new tyres. Don’t let the mileage put you of the car looks & drives like it hasn’t even done a ¼ of the mileage on the clock. All the suspension & exhaust (inc. cat) is about 3 years old the clutch & gearbox are perfect & engine is still nice & revy.

The paint is just as red as when it came out the factory due to being garaged the majority of its life. I had the bumpers & mirrors painted professionally about a year ago & the original paint work matched the fresh paint perfectly. There are a few scratches/stone chips here & there but nothing major better than most cars of this age.

The interior is as it just came out the factory the only thing is it has a face lift cd player fitted which doesn’t match up to the dash perfectly I have the original tape deck which will go with the car as well.

As you’d imagine it’s very cheap to TAX, Insure & run. The car has never missed a beat in the time we’ve owned it we got it with about 140k on the clock a few years ago. Perfect for round town driving & surprisingly good on motorway/dual carriage ways as well.

The only reason this car is going is due to need for something bigger you’ll know what I mean when you see the dog!

    £1250ono

    Car located in Bristol.

Will get some pics up the weekend once it’s been in for a full valet @ her place Friday.

  10. Hi All,

Don’t use this anymore been sat in the spare room for over a year! It came to me how it is now with all the bits already on! All I have bought for it is a larger battery & a fast charger.

It’s based on the KEI Office S15 SILVIA its all painted with graphics, carnards, mirrors & spoiler. The running gear engine etc are all in excellent condition & all the standard gear it comes with is spanking new! The body shell has a few marks on it as you’d expect but isn’t cracked or anything! Still looks excellent!

It comes with the D1 Spec race engine which is the quickest 1 they do Goes like stink well it would if it stayed in a straight line long enough

It has the carbon fibre prop

It has the 2 way diff so you can hand brake

It has the all the suspension hop ups with different shocks & springs as well as all the adjustable bits(all well beyond me I just played with it)

It has the plastic ring tyres on the wheels currently but also comes with a set of cut rubber tyres which apparently lets you get better angles!?

It has the head light & tail light buckets which flash

It also has the drift light kit in green which has 9 different settings

It has the red brake lights behind the wheels i.e. when the wheels spin the brake discs appear to glow red

It has the LED exhaust which flashes red & blue

I have 2 battery packs for it I can’t remember the size’s but 1 last about 30mins the other about 45 they don’t take very long to charge with the fast charger

It’s got all the radio gear, controller, manuals, catalogue, box, all the standard bits & a load of other bits of plastic that I have no idea about what they are for

There maybe some other stuff on it I have forgotten about basically when I bought it I looked into them & this thing had every hop up & toy you could get for it! Fully loaded top of the range! 2 careful owners never raced or rallyed

This is a great toy! (if you ask the professionals its not a toy) but it is! :teeth:

The Mrs been nagging me for about a year to sale it & I finally realised she may be right as I cant remember the last time I used it! (well except for sat morning in the kitchen after I took the pics :p )

I got a shed load of pics & will stick them up tonight!

£200 + P&P(not sure how much this will be?) or can come & collect it
