  1. Storing stacked one on top of each other is probally best, but as Darren said doesn't make alot of difference either way.

The only thing to try and do, is to keep out of direct sunlight, as its UV rays that ages the tyres the most and hardens the rubber.

  2. Can anybody help me.....

I have a UK 04 plate and I am looking to get a set of track day wheels/ spare wheels while my rays are being refurbished.

Is the offset on the JDM standard 17" wheels enough to clear the brembo calipers?

    Thanks for any advice.

  3. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, they are made by Cheng Shin a Chinese/Taiwan budget tyre manufacturer.

They are quite big in motorcross

Recently they have upped their advertising in this country, have done a deal with Liverpool advertising on pitchside boards at home games amongst other things.

  4. Does anyone have any feedback on the "ssentas":wacko:

I always thought the tread pattern was a bit wierd and I know the last vredsteins i had were quite a hard compound :scare::drive1

From memory in either Auto Express or Evo's tyre test they came 3rd behind Goodyear F1 and Conti Spt Cont 3.

    Have a look at http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vrede ... ssanta.htm for a couple of reviews.

Get good write ups, although so do Uniroyal Rainsport 2's, seem to be the best tyres money can buy!!! ;)

  5. Come on guys and girls, just 4 of us? :headhurt:

Would love to come along but I'll be in France, not having alot of luck with local meets, always seem to be doing something else, its very selfish of you all arranging meets when I can't come ;)

    Maybe next time

  6. on a private road, my speedo read 165mph on a slight down hill stretch, does that mean my limiter has been removed? has anybody hit the limiter? or is the limiter set to GPS speed, as 165 on speedo would roughly equate to 155 GPS.

Car felt very stable and planted to road at this speed.

  7. A big thank you to Sky, just taken out a new policy with them, saved me over £200 on my current insurers renewal price. Didn't think it would have gone down nearly that much being 25.

Definately worth a go when your insurance is up for renewal.

  8. I did this day last september, One of the most enjoyable days I've had!!

All the cars are great, got to agree with mick43 the clios were one of my favourites.

For outright grunt the XKR's were fantastic.

If you don't come away grinning from ear to ear, i'll be very very suprised!!!

    Enjoy it.

  9. P zero corsa are one of the best gripping tyres on the market.

My mate has got a pair on the front of his 200sx and he has been very impressed with the level of grip they offer. the only problem you will get is they will wear quickly.

I've got the new P zero on the rear of mine with P zero rosso's on the front, the rears are very grippy, a bit noisy, but not as load as the bridgestones.

the p zeros are very grippy in wet and dry, they came out top in the most recent auto express tyre test. Only problem is they don't make them in the front fitment as im on standard rays.

  10. Any good tyre dealer should be able to get hold of the PS2's as they are available in this country.

I would advise against gettring the PS1's as eventually the PS2's will replace the PS1's and you will have a mix of tyres again.

Out of interest how much are you getting the PS2's for?
