Guys, I have read the topic entitled 'Engine making ticking noise and using more oil than normal' and think that I may have a similar problem. I took my 350 to Tony at Abbey Motorsport who was extremely helpful. He is predicting it is the tappets as well but suggested that I change the oil to either Castrol Edge 10W 50 or 20W 60 - he has said this will reduce the noise - will this work?? Does anyone have any thoughts on this and want to know whether this oil is acceptable and safe to use on the 350. The noise is irritating but Abbey have said it is not dangerous. Please give me some thoughts. Nick

Hi Guys, I put a post over a week ago to do with a noise that appears to be coming from my engine. I have had my car fully serviced by Nissan and whilst it is out of warranty dont really want to have to pay unnecessarily to get the car checked out by them. I was hoping that as a gesture of good will they might but does anyone have any suggestions? More importantly, reading through the posts it might have something to do with my fuel pump. The only way to desrcibe the noise is a 'ticking' noise. Does anyone know of any 350 specialists in North London where I could take the car for them to look at. I am based in Barnet, North London so don't want to travel to far to get to a garage. I was even hoping that one of the members who lives locally could give me any advice. Really apprecaite some feedback on this. Looking at a 370Z as well so was hoping that Nissan would be keen to keep me happy. Cheers NIck

Hi Guys, Those scumbags at Nissan want to charge me around £65 for some front windscreen wipers which seems ludicrous. Does anyone know where I can get some cheaper? Cheers Nick

Hi Guys, I think I might have a problem with my tappets as my car is a little noisy at the moment. Has anyone experienced any similar problems and if so how easy is it to rectify and what is the cost? I am in London and if anyone lives nearby and could possibly diagnose the problem for me that would be quality. Cheers Nick

I only need two front tyres and dont want to mix two different treads. Unless anyone has any other offers???? I am based in Barnet, North London and may pop down to R Tec. My dad has said that Costco are doing a 20% discount on Michelin tyres which he swears by any thoughts????
