According to this doc (which states it is for the “extreme” version of the kit, the vacuum hose I think is coming from the wastegates which are “T’eed” together under the engine.

but the other non-exteme version of the kit appears to have a boost control solenoid which sits next to the BoV. I don’t have the solenoid, but doubt I have the extreme kit either.

part of me just wants to remove the t or plug it up and see what happens, but I’d rather know what it is first.

Boost peak is about 0.8 bar (although that’s going on previous owner rather than personal experience - this weather doesn’t allow for boosting or driving hard) but APS recommend 8psi max (about 0.55 bar) - so maybe something else has been done outside of these guides.

    any help is appreciated. Cheers.

Boost is indicated on the Defi gauge above the cubby. I don't follow the max .55 bar comment.. seems very low!

I don't like to say listen to the voice of experience, but you are 10 miles from Abbey.

These are the people who look after ProjectZEd - the 6 second 350z Drag Car

I'll never go anywhere else for my Turbo 's servicing

and if I had to pick a different tuner to re-fit the APS TT kit that I have on

it would be Abbey, even if they were twice as much as anyone else.

Cuz I know they'll get it right :teeth:

I"ve driven the DSA Z persannally. I still recommend Abbey

  5. Given you are at Redhill, get yourself down to AbbeyMotorsports at Oxted

They know more about the Z than any other outfit in the UK, including Nissan :)

Save to My Maps Est. fuel cost: UK£2.52

  6. I don't care about the fuel, my commute is only 6 miles each way

So what are the engine differences between the 276, 296 and 300+?

What's required to crack 5 secs 0-60 (as I want the same sort of acceleration as my MR" if possible).

As far as weight saving goes, I'd be interested in a carbon fibre bonnet, depending on the car's colour and lightweight alloys. Possibly lightweight seats too, but they'd have to be usable on long journeys, not buckets that ruin your back!

My 4 mile commute each way averages 18 mpg, but thats with 385 bhp and the cheap RFL option too. :teeth:

  7. Okay, I'm getting hassle about me taking up the kids playroom with the boxes for the last 2 years.

  8. I never used to bother with FB too much and at one point nearly deleted myself from it but since I got a Blackberry and we introduced the skip (sorry green room) here I've become a bit of an addict. However, I didn't as a rule have any of my family, workmates or non car related friends on there until recently when my sister went and made a friends request to me......... I had to add her as I felt guilty not doing - first thing she said was "all your friends are men!" I told her its not that all my friends are men but that all my friends including the women on there are car related friends - hence its just natural most are guys! Anyway, since I accepted her I now have a request from my cousin who I only see now and again at my grandparents house and who to be honest is a bit of a chav and who I don't particularly want as a FB friend. So what do I do?? At the moment the request is just hanging there - undecided, but I will bump into her before long.............

I have this same problem with someone called Sarnie
