westyno9 Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 Fitted these to mine, the longer hose from the top off the engine to thermostat is much larger so it can be a struggle to get the plastic holding clips back on. Also mine wasn't perfectly round and with the extra thickness the oem clips don't fit, I changed all mine to jubilee clips anyway, makes it much easier. Make sure you have plenty of coolant, I lost about 7 litres changing them so I dropped it all and did a full coolant change. Make sure you put the bottom hose from thermostat to radiator the right way, slap on the head moment after refilling coolant to notice it was resting on air con pulley! JurassicZ Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 If you have the 4 piece kit, the smallest pipe which goes from the top of the rad to the coolant overflow bottle does not fit, on the DE its a straight pipe but in the kit it's got lots of bends and is too short!
