Stupid newbie roadster question

Hi All,

 

In all the excitement of sorting out my car I got into headless chicken mode and didn't ask enough questions

 

Can any roadster owners advise me.

 

If you park with the top down can you lock the car (and cubbyholes) without setting the alarm or does it prime the alarm etc? Do you have to do anything clever with the keyfob (like my Focus its 2 blips on the locking button - once locks, 2nd activates deadlocks etc).

 

Also why are there 3 keys?

For the alarm, I think you have to hold the button for a while. I'm sure someone can answer this with certainty.

 

You have 2 normal keys and 1 valet/garage key. The last one doesn't provide access to the storage room behind the passenger seat.
