I have taken the 350z FairLady off the road for the winter but the battery keeps dying (I fitted a new Varta Blue Battery) , i want to run the engine every couple of weeks to keep everything lubed up but its getting a pain recharging the battery every time i want to do it.

I think the alarm is running the battery down this led to another post i put up about being locked out which the good folks on this forum helped me with.

So i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on fitting a battery isolator switch so i can take the load off the battery, the alarm doesnt seem to mind being not powered up while the battery is disconnected .

I would of thought just disconnecting one of the battery leads would do the trick, rather than the hassle of fitting an isolator.
