K370Z2 Posted October 4, 2014 Share Posted October 4, 2014 Has anybody got the correct paint colour for the above Zeds wheels. I have just had mine refurbed under insurance but the colour looks miles away from what they were. I only claimed for 3 but they painted 4 so there is no way of confirming what they should be.However they just don't look right. Also looking at the wheel should the inner rim from where it says forged on the lip, should that be painted black or the colour of the outer rim, as they just over sprayed the grey into the rear of the rim (badly). splash Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Unfortunately a common problem with these wheels when it comes to refurb as they do not have a paint code. The consensus is that the wheels are painted in a 2 stage process starting out black with silver blown over the top. A good bodyshop/refurb place should be able to match the colour though.... maybe. Bit of a pain really as i need only one doing and don't really want to repaint all four in case of a mismatch. The inner rim is the same colour as the outer rim not black.
