BTW, if you buy the pads from one of the suppliers on here (EBC Redstuff I can recommend) then changing them yourself really is very easy.

 

The design of the Brembo caliper (assuming you have these?) means once the wheel is off, you are just two clicks, two pins and a spider retainer away from sliding the new pads in. You could change front and rear pads for £99. Discs are easy to change too. :)

Blimey, Chris! Another Zed in Liverpool and you sneak a little post in here without formally introducing yourself! ;)

 

I would be interested in any reputable specialist you find as I'm sure I'll be needing work in the future. TDi in Warrington are a safe bet but I've no idea on their prices.
