Rear speakers

Hi.

Thinking about changing my rear speakers in my non bose zed, the front ones are ok but the back are pathetic. I have a big install in my other car and don't really want to spend an awful lot on the zed as i get as much music as i need through the engine and exuast note.

 

Anybody got any recommendations (with a price attached if poss )

Have you changed the front speakers? If not, I would recommend changing the front ones, fading the head unit forward and be done with it. Ideally you want the sound stage in front of you, so the rears should be unstressed and simply there for ambience. If you must have some different rears, I'd recommend something like these.

save your money!! The rear speakers have horrible placement, and in many competition level setups, you won't even see them used! Best bet is to replace your fronts and maybe consider fitting an amp at the same time if money allows for it
