Head Unit Fitting Help

Hi All

I have a 06 facefit with bose system, and I,m trying to replace with a App radio 3 from Pioneer ,

I bought the ICT install kit and it all seems to be the coreect one,

But I,m not sure about the wiring with the 29-674 adapter, the ISO connection, which is the black connector on the adapter, that does not fit my Head unit?

Do I have to splice the ISO connector that was supplied with the unit to ICT apdater?

Any help would be very greatful.

Am I right in saying that you have steering wheel controls as standard with your original Bose system. The lead/leads that u got from Incartec go between the lead that came with your new head unit (green circle?) and the plugs you pulled out when disconnecting the Bose unit. There is a patch lead mentioned on the Incartec website that you might also need. Are the 4 sockets at the bottom right hand corner preouts?

Hi

Yes I have the Steering Wheel Controls, well I thought the loom that I got Incartec would mean I did not need to use the one circled in green (the one that came with the head unit) I did get all the cables that incartec said I needed and yes the 4 sockets are the preouts I believe.

My main issue seems to be the adapter connection for the ISO don't match, I think some thing is missing!!!!

As far as I can see the 4 RCA plugs ( red, white, black and yellow ) will go into the preout sockets. The small black phono plug goes into a socket ( think it's labeled RC ) on the back of the head unit. The 2 bigger white plugs go into the sockets you pulled out of the Bose unit. This leaves the black socket with the yellow circle round it which should plug into the other end of the lead which goes into the back of the head unit. From your pictures I can't see any plugs on the other end of this lead?? One other thing I had to do was put in wires and links to the socket connected to the phono plug depending on the make of head unit. The instructions for this came with the leads.
