A Question about the clutch

Hi, bit worried about the clutch, maybe it is normal but i am really not sure, okay while the ignition is on and i put the cluth down it makes a little sqeaky noise, but while releasing the clutch there is no noise. is that normal?

 

also there is another noise,a very low one, apart from the engine noise & that bloody sqeak, i can hear i think the clutch or some part of the clutch i presume (im no mechanic). again when i but the clutch down this partucular noise disappears, when releasing the sound is there once again.

 

 

 

I did ask the stealers and they took a look at it, there reply was... its normal, im confused?

 

Are they chatting a load of bull, or am i just getting paronoid

Sounds like mine - sometimes when I press down I get the squeek, sometimes I don't... and yes, it rattles like buggery (erm....)

have a search on here well known idiosyncrasy of the Zed, noisy clutch release bearing, quite normal

phew, glad its just a common niggle with the zed.

 

time to use that Search button to see what else pops up

 

(always seem to forget bout the Search button, it seems to be camouflaged into the arches
