Hi guys a question I'm not sure about, I'm going abroad for about 2 months and leaving the car in the drive way as i have no garage. Will the car be okay as the engine will not be swithed on in this 2 month period? If this is not okay I can leave the keys with a family member so they can switch the engine on every 2 weeks or so if that is neccasery. what do you think.

I had my Air bag light come on today, does anybody know what causes this? also does this affect the car in any way? cheers

Hi, bit worried about the clutch, maybe it is normal but i am really not sure, okay while the ignition is on and i put the cluth down it makes a little sqeaky noise, but while releasing the clutch there is no noise. is that normal? also there is another noise,a very low one, apart from the engine noise & that bloody sqeak, i can hear i think the clutch or some part of the clutch i presume (im no mechanic). again when i but the clutch down this partucular noise disappears, when releasing the sound is there once again. I did ask the stealers and they took a look at it, there reply was... its normal, im confused? Are they chatting a load of bull, or am i just getting paronoid

would they still have details of the car on there computers? Sorry I've never done this before, also would i need to take the seller and the car with me to the Nissan dealer to find out more abouts this car? thanks

He has mentioned that the tyres have been chaged to 'Michelen Pilot Sports Brand new 2500 mile ago' I found this car on the 350z site, tho on there he has mentioned Nissan as the first owners, since looking at it again, he may have muddled up the order in which the owners where when i spoke with him on the phone. Hi guys, I'm going to see a car soon, now the sellers mentioned to me that the car comes with warranty, but to transfer the warranty to me, Nissan apparently need a full check from RAC to make sure that the car is in good order for the warranty to still be valid. can someone shed some light as if this is right, also the seller mentioned it may cost me a rough £100 for this check up from RAC. another strange thing is that tho the car has done 18,700 miles, seller has mentioned he has had no problems with the (tyre feathering, rear axle clicking,bose head unit probs) he is the 3rd owner, 2nd owner being Nissan and 1st owner someone who sold the car to Nissan, does this sound strange? also any tips would be handy when checking the car (I'v read the FAQ's)

Yeah your right, its gonna take a bit of time tho. I'll just have to be a bit more patient for the time being.

Thanks for your replys:) I really dont want a jap import (no offence to the poeple who do own one). But id prefer a genuine UK car, plus it will help me a bit over the insurance compared to an import. Guess I'll haveto keep hunting and saving till I find one thats the right price.

Hi guys came across this site accidently, as I am considering buying a Zed (luv that look) Just want to your opinions, my budget at the moment is 15k, you guys reckon i can at least find a 03' or 04' Zed (GT pack) with decent mileage for that kind of money, I know I'm gonna have to stretch it a little.
