Top up oil?

Ok you experts, car was recently P2 'ed, i don't know what oil was used, I want to get some to top up with (5 - 30) but should I get min or syn or won't it make any difference.

Does it not say on the receipt sheet what they put in it? Give them a call and they'll tell you what they use
