Patch Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 The sub in my zed has an intermittent problem and switches from on and off, sounds like its a loose wire but where do i start? Where is the amp for the stock bose system? Quote
un1eash Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 The amp for the sub sits next to the subwoofer itself and is mounted on the backside of where the subwoofer is, if you remove the sub and lossen the 2 bolts holding the amp on you can remove it. Quote
350Chris Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 The sub amp is prone to this, a relay loosens and causes the cutting out. The fix involves removing the amp from its cover and wedging a piece of cardboard in (seriously) there is a thread in the guides section or a vid on YouTube.
