Steering wheel buttons help

Hi guys just looking for abit of advice, just fitted a new pioneer app radio. I used the incar tec adapter & new pioneer patch lead stereo works as it should but strangely when using the wheel controls the volume can be turned up but not down & skip songs up but not down aswell.

 

Anybody know why this could be ? I've checked all the connections etc just hoped was plug & play

I had this problem dude. You might have the wrong patch on. For example I had a Pioneer AVH3400 with the 3volt Pioneer SWC (bought from In Car Tech) and this worked.

 

I didnt like the stereo so i swapped it for a Pioneer DaH100 and i was doing what you said, bu really slow and then did nothing. I had also bought the 5v Pioneer SWC lead from In Car Tech, and swapped it over and it works perfectly now.
