Was a new one on me earlier when talking to Sky insurance, especially as I was never told this when I had my last zed, not ever it mentioned when they insured it. Noticed, though, while looking for another zed none of them mention having any extra security which begs the question how did they get insured? This is tied into the original Nissan keyfob. Unlocking Locking In terms of insurance, I've just passed on to them that it's Thatcham 1, as that is all I know and have been told.
