Stupid Question of the Day - What Car Have I Got??

Ok, hopefully not as daft a question as it sounds - it's a 56 350Z GT with the updated interior (no flappy cover over the satnav) but is there an easy way to tell which BHP it is - 280 or 300?? Year, engine number? The red line is at 7k and I think with some earlier models it's around 6.5k??
