Alarm. Thatcham approved or not??

Hi everyone.

Have an 08 plate

Is the standard car Alarm thatcham approved or it it just manufacture fit in relation 2 my insurance?

Yep, just checked, so you don't get any misleading info, and I was right. All U.K cars are fitted with an engine immobiliser and Thatcham category 1 alarm system. Any decent insurer should have this information already on their database.

Looks like I could have possibly saved even more on my Insurance renewal this year then as I put it down as CAT 2.

Sorting my insurance today so thanks for the link.

When I checked the 350Z has both alarm and immobiliser but the Roadster seems to only have the alarm? Seems odd.
